Came across this series by Jay Foreman purely from my recommendations, its very similar to the stuff Tom Scott does. I found his videos last night via my recommendations too. They are quite interesting.
You know you're watching a good quality production with a good presenter when you're glued to a 10-minute video on historical urban development plans. I'll definitely be checking this out.
Pretty good "I wish they never had built this STUPID house" got me pretty good
I am using agencies to provide labourers on a one house development in Bushey Heath and I am struggling due to it being a bitch of a place to commute to, at least now I know why. Thanks Jay.
I suddenly have this huge urge to play Cities Skylines again and design the worst possible roads ever. Shame for some of those more useful train stations though, I doubt it would've helped in getting less cars on the streets though.
Pretty great quality for 2009 (and simply interesting) - think I've seen his politics videos before.
What is the decision that guy took? It is 2016 What a cliffhanger I spent an hour watching all, I deserve an answer
From what I vaguely remember, it was put off and left undecided.
It was finally rejected on grounds of cost (possibly as high as £100 billion) and environmental damage by the Airports Commission in an announcement made on 2 September 2014, leaving Gatwick and Heathrow as the remaining options.
Yep they never actually decided what to do.
