What if IE is actually really fucking good now, and we are all missing out.
So now they're confident after about 5 iterations of IE and about 6 years of development.

Re-tried it out recently.
VERY much improved, still prefer FF though.
Honestly I just can't get into the UI

It is better now. There is no doubt. I will have to look into it later.
The very end is actually true. IE Sucks....less now.
Still prefer to use FF or chrome.
But he's right you know.
What I find funny about this whole video is that MS obviously knew it sucked hard for the past years, but only decided to do something about it, say, 2 years ago. Congrats you made a browser that sucks less but still sucks more than everything that's out there now.
cant blame em for having fantastic marketing though
cant blame em for having fantastic marketing though
not really.
Them saying their browser sucks less in the advertisement is sort of like "okay, even though we made improvements, every other browser still functions better. so like.. download our newest explorer? :D?"
It doesn't make any sense and I think the only demographic the ad appeals to are the people that already know that IE sucks and already use different web browsers, and not even appealing for the right reason (for what they're trying to accomplish).
That has to be the worst troll ever, though? IE SUCKS as a response to EVERYTHING. The internet equivalent to I Know You Are But What Am I
I've used IE10 on my machine and I don't care if it's faster, it feels so slow to respond. Yea, loading a webpage in half a second. I'll wait 2-3 before it knows I want to go there. It feels sluggish before actually doing something.
The plethora of plugins for Chrome and FF make IE feel worthless.
They're appealing to the hipsters
Shame the only place IE is used is in librarys, schools and offices, and they don't get updated.
I don't get why they would launch this whole campaign to try and get people to come back to IE.. without making it at least as good as what's already out there. Who is going to dump FF or Chrome to go backwards?
Well apart from that guy who likes karaoke
I might not be the biggest fan of IE, but I really liked that ad.
IE still sucks, but it was a great ad
I'm tempted to use IE just because of the geniality of this ad.
Nice touch with the mouse. It's the exact mouse somebody praised here and said that if you bought anything else, you paid too much, pros use it yadda yadda and when I said that it feels like a flimsy piece of shit, couple of people lost their minds. :v:
I have that same keyboard :o
i died laughing when he typed internet exPLODER
how did they get all of those cameras in my room wtf ):
At least MS has the balls to say that they knew their browser sucked but now it sucks less
(If they want to expand their marketshare they should be making versions for mac, linux and mobile use instead of having it solely on Windows devices)
Too late for to get us back now, Microsoft
I tried IE9 out earlier today. It's better then previous versions, but it's considerably slower and doesn't have much support for addons. No thank you.
For someone who hates IE, he sure uses a lot of Microsoft gear
