The chord progression is very typical. Every episode is made in one week before airing, 5 days and 1 all nighter is normally what happens, to cram this animation style + song would of been mega stressful on the team

It's mostly the case with anime parodies, they nail the "moe" designs but not the animation style. It's probably because it focuses on writing more than animation. Japanese key animators are pretty good for working under strict time constraints though.
