When was Aaron Paul on the show? I need to see that episode.
This video is really well made. Some of this clips really make me want to watch the 10th season, I thought they had run out of good myths.
I still remember the rocket-car myth.
Since that episode (the first), I've seen most-all mythbusters.
They're the new age of Bill Nye
That was awesome, brilliant choice of music.
lol there's aaron paul at one point in the video

Breaking Bad Special iirc.
I enjoy watching the show, then pointing out every single thing they did wrong. I've seen too many episodes where the myths could've been confirmed yet were busted because they are idiots. For example the Archimedes mirror. I really doubt they used mirrors back then, it is more likely they used curved class to focus the sunlight, you lose luminosity reflecting, with glass your focusing it making it more intense. A Tv screen can be used to get something raised up to 2000 degrees from 4 feet away and set on fire pretty much instantly leads me to believe Archimedes used glass, plus they had a pretty extensive knowledge of glass back then.

Adam went over the reason behind this in a presentation he did once, it's mainly because of Discovery Channel and how short their deadlines are that they sometimes skip over certain things.

Who the fuck cares, it's not a scientific show, it's purely for entertainment, who cares if they got some shit wrong?

They revisit myths you know. Go bitch at them on their forums about it
Who the fuck cares, it's not a scientific show, it's purely for entertainment, who cares if they got some shit wrong?
Of course its not scientific. Just sheer entertainment. I fucking care it's annoying, and its not some, it's about half their material, they used to put more effort, buts its gone downhill after all these years.
What were they doing with the roundabout at 0:32? Does anyone know the episode or what they were testing?
They revisit myths you know. Go bitch at them on their forums about it
I could, There were so many times I was like yeah I should go on their forums tell them what they did wrong, then thought, they would probably fuck my idea up too.

they've revisited Archimedes Death Mirror, 3 times already, I think they've done this myth enough
I could, There were so many times I was like yeah I should go on their forums tell them what they did wrong, then thought, they would probably fuck my idea up too.
If you don't tell them, then it's a bit silly to complain and assume that they'll fuck up your idea. I enjoy watching Mythbusters, always have always will. It's a fun show, no matter how scientific it is.

"I could tell them how to be better but I don't want to because I know for a fact that they won't do it anyway cause I'm right no matter what". So don't fucking complain if you don't want them to get better either.

Jeez, chill.
Mythbusters, instilling anger since 2002.
Only you are angry here. I think the populace would concur with the fact that its a great show and that it does not, in fact, instill anger in them

Don't get me wrong it is definitely a good show. just some of the tests they do bother me.
the only dumb thing they do is fail to understand the rope strength rating system.
they always go "this machine broke this rope rated for 1,000 LB. this machine can therefore pull 1,000lb objects" but that's wrong. ropes are weaker if you pull on them with a sudden motion.
a rope that is rated at 1,000lb can lift a 1,000 lb object if you apply tension slowly, if you yank the rope really fast it can break after about 700lb of force.
they do this so many times.
i saw my first mythbusters in a hospital, i think it was the exploding port-a-potty myth
Mythbusters defines quality television. It has everything a show must have and more.
On the topic of Mythbusters, I love watching tested's youtube channel just to see what prop Adam is going to build

I dislike Adam and Jamie having annoying teen sidekicks on the show. I like Mythbusters overall
