Hail to both kings.
I watched the whole thing and I agree with this guy.
It is a pretty bad game. I can't even stand playing it, it just gets boring and I uninstalled it. At most I'd give it a 5.5/10

I didn't like the game, I still don't think it deserves a 3.
I got skeptical when he said he was a Duke fanboy, but that really was a fair and honest review.
If his other reviews are just like this one then I'll look at his stuff aswell before buying a game.
DSP may be terrible at playing games, but he knows his shit.
The game doesn't deserve a 3 when we live on a 7 to 10 scale. A 6 will doom a game because these shit sites never rate below a 7. And that's not the real problem. The problem is this: Preview for a game: THIS GAME IS SO AWESOME Review: THIS GAME IS SSHIIIIIITTTT [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] Also he contradicts himself. IMO Witcher 2 is fine down the road, I wonder if he bothered beating it. And previews for that game specifically stated it's a bit of an old school game
Basically what I said in another thread.
I don't usually like DSP's stuff, but this was right on the mark.
You can't really make excuses for a game based on development. You're supposed to review the final game not start talking about the difficulties during development and make compensations for that.
The sequel? Duke Nukem Forever: And Ever
DSP knows that he is a bitch when it comes to places he got stuck or something that was his fault even though he claims its the game I guess it just comes naturally to him [editline]17th June 2011[/editline] also the part where he autographed for the kid at the beginning of the DN:F playthrough was hilarious
I don't understand why everyone hates it. This game is pure duke, people's only arguments are the two gun limit and regenerating health
I think it's an okay 5/10 or 6/10 game, nothing too terrible.
I don't understand why everyone hates it. This game is pure duke, people's only arguments are the two gun limit and regenerating health
linearity up the ass the whole game boring shooting mechanics and enemies bad animations the list goes on
linearity up the ass the whole game boring shooting mechanics and enemies bad animations the list goes on
Do go on.
linearity up the ass the whole game boring shooting mechanics and enemies bad animations the list goes on
it's a classic FPS, I'm sorry if you wanted this to be like Call of Duty but that's not what you're going to get from this type of game.
I don't know why you would put a game so high and expect it to be super good. That takes away a lot of the enjoyment you would get form the game I did that with CoD:Black Ops,I thought it would be good(not super but good)but it came out as decent it was my mistake for putting it too high than what it should be so at the moment I played it it was so bad.But after some time it came out as decent even though I had a really bad time playing it.
Neckbeard.

I love watching him play games, his commentary is hilarious and it's hilarious when he cant figure out the simplest thing sometimes.
I took it back half way through the story. It just didn't seem like a polished game that was ready to release. Bounding boxes and hit boxes seem off, the guns / aiming handle badly and it got repetative really early on. It's the only game i have traded back into the shop in my entire life
i really liked it. it was enjoyable and FUN
why do people need so many review videos of this game to make up their mind about it? i watched one video with gameplay, 1-2 days after release, and it was enough to convince me not to spend 50-60euros on it. [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] and this video is 30minutes, duke nukem is not that interesting
I'd say people who have never played Duke Nukem 3D before should stay away from it. It's a service to the fan boys and long time lovers, me being one of them therefore I loved it.
says the person with the MLP avatar
Holy shit I've never heard that one before.
