What pisses me off isn't even that it was Thor specifically, it's that this is happening in all the fucking movies coming out.
Green Lantern has the same fucking problem, one minute it's "holy shit there's a dead alien and he gave me a ring that makes me into a super space cop" and the next it's "HEY HEY HEY, I'M INCOMPETENT! SILLY ME"

Tony Stark was a play boy, a drunk, and a fool, yeah, but when the cards were down he could get the job done. He only ever really failed horribly when he was drunk, and when he was drunk it was played more depressing than funny.
Sure there were times where he was reckless, but like I said, it fit his character. He was reckless, and when shit happened, it got serious.
Thor is a fucking Norse God, and they're playing his getting tased by an annoying LA bimbo for laughs. Really, I'd think the tone of a Thor movie would be more like the Lord of the Rings. A fantasy story in modern times.

I really dont like the thor marvel character.
To me Thor is a great god not a superhero. He should look like a normal man and not like somone who broke into a costume shop and but a tinfoil eagle on his head. I just dont like him.
I cant take him seriously since i grew up with stories of valhalla and the aesir as a kid. I even grew up with a cartoon wich was really true to the real stories.
In the comic and the movie they didn't even get mjölnir right. It just looks like a big slab of rock on a stick (if you wonder how it's supposed to look google the name with the Ö). Im not mad.
