The PD's up here are well funded and ditch them at the earliest opportunity, mine just happened to be in good shape. I got it in 07' with about 70k miles and I'm still driving it.
Now they're driving the fancy all option taurus and explorer worth 45k a piece :v:

I missed an opportunity long ago to get a CVPI, was even kitted with the kevlar and backseat cage, just had all the police electronics removed. Would have been a badass car, sans the 9 miles per gallon mileage.

My town still has a shit-ton of Crown Vics and Suburbans and barely any of the new Taurus and Explorers. It'll be the day when we see a Charger here.

Well if you can find a good condition P71 like the owner of the one RCR did, its apparently not a bad daily driver.
But most are in really poor condition, I'd consider the taxi's even worse, they'd be falling apart by the time you get them because they'll only let them go when they are no longer usable.
