Think its taken just a bit too long for this to happen
Think its taken just a bit too long for this to happen
Not long enough, they should've waited for it to get warmer out and they might actually get a revival by the time its warm enough to go out this will be in the back of people's minds
pokemon go was great for 3 weeks but quickly got boring, it was neat to get me out of the house tho and walk around, did about 14000 steps once playing with some mates according to my iphone but apart from that, it didnt do too much, nothing they could really do could convince me to redownload it honestly
Taking out the step feature was so dumb. I dropped it afterwards and never bothered with it again.
Can't wait to finally catch all 28 forms of unown
Yay more Pokemon I still can't battle other trainers with.

Not exactly too little, but certainly too late.
Taking out the step feature was so dumb. I dropped it afterwards and never bothered with it again.
Wait, they took out the entire point of the game? Jesus Christ that's like taking the stamina out of Dark Souls.
Wait, they took out the entire point of the game? Jesus Christ that's like taking the stamina out of Dark Souls.
they took it out because it didn't work at all after the worldwide launch and replaced it with a different tracking system later on
they took it out because it didn't work at all after the worldwide launch and replaced it with a different tracking system later on
Is it better than the steps feature?
Is it better than the steps feature?
God no
Taking out the step feature was so dumb. I dropped it afterwards and never bothered with it again.
Yeah, that's what killed it for me. I loved actually hunting down the Pokemon on my bike. Now it seems like you just randomly run into them.
http://www.gamespot.com/articles/pokemon-go-trading-and-pvp-battle-features-coming-/1100-6447838/
Best features coming "Soon™"
it would be nice if they made the game playable on wifi
Honestly the biggest reason I stopped playing was because you couldn't disable the touchscreen while playing. I kept pushing shit through my pocket so when I took my phone out I'd have set a dozen alarms, or texted gibberish to my grandma. Other than that, I had a great time with it.
I don't get how it's too late. Unless the game is going offline some time soon?
I just feel like it's a little too late because such features should have been in the game since day one, or at least not this late. This is simply what I believe.
http://www.gamespot.com/articles/pokemon-go-trading-and-pvp-battle-features-coming-/1100-6447838/
Imagine how successful and amazing this game would have been if they had waited until it was all ready to go at the initial launch? They even said one of those two features would have been out already had it "not been for the game's initial server issues", for whatever that's worth. They gave us the most boring aspect of pokemon at launch, the "gotta catch em all" part. Which sucks, and it still hooked the world for a nice little while. That wasn't what made the series fun though. It's not what kept us coming back. It was the variety and the fact that you actually got to battle and trade all of these magical, wild creatures with your friends and throughout the stories that the main series had to offer. That's what made it so fun and addicting. Why couldn't they wait until it was all ready to go in one nice little package? It would have been a nuclear explosion but instead of radiation it would have been sweet, sweet money and customer satisfaction. One that wouldn't have died down nearly as quickly as it did in this case.
I just feel like it's a little too late because such features should have been in the game since day one, or at least not this late. I never liked the game because even with going out and walking it seemed pretty pointless. There was little "game" to it, even when it came down to fighting gyms. Has that been addressed at all? I don't really care how or why I'm collecting hundreds of Pokemon if I can't do shit with them.
I never thought i would say this but i think it's a bit too early for a content update.
Give me cyndaquil.
It's sad how it's died down in popularity, at least here. It was always fun to see crowds of people walking all over the place looking for pokemon.
Is it better than the steps feature?

God no
they put it back and made it better [t]http://puu.sh/u4CdL/37fb65d4b4.jpg[/t]
I love Tododile... Might start playing again just for him lol.
Really though, is there a way to disable the touchscreen when you put it in your pocket yet? Because I would totally get back into it if there was a way to do that. Even an external app that lets you do it would be great, although I doubt that would even work.

If you turn that on, the game will dim the screen and lock itself when the phone gets turned upside-down.
