it's almost heartwarming that we still get kids posting their CS montages.
almost.
Congrats on the ace, but that was awful shooting.
That was some of the worst game sense I ever saw in CS GO, from everyone in the video.
You missed the first shot
How do you rename bots?
How do you rename bots?
the bot names are stored with the rest of the translation strings in the language files if i recall correctly
they aren't enforced by sv_pure either
You guys are being rather cruel.
But will admit those were some nova grade plays, assuming this is a replay, if its not then there is a huge lack of communication and you need to work on your general senses, you completely missed the audio cues from the guy behind you near the end, you could hear him stomping around after he made the jump down from catwalk for example.
That is again, assuming this is actually you and not you reposting it for a friend or something.
Basically, need to work on the game sense, audio and communication is really key in a game like cs.

No, it's in botprofile.db in the main game folder (the one where all your dems are, not the executable)
Silvers with no coms for sure.
The guy coming from mid would have killed you there and then if he didn't make a noise, and why he didn't shoot sooner is a mystery.
Either him or the guy at B entrance or the guy that fell down from catwalk.
given the massive amount of noise in terms of playstyle and metagame variation at low to mid-level competitive gaming, monkey typewriter scenarios like this unfold on a minute basis; I've gone 35-2 in dota at 3k mmr, which would have meant something if i was either 3000 mmr higher or the other 50 games either side of that came remotely close to the same score if you get where i'm coming from

Shameless plug for my friend but this was very well received by FP when I first posted it!
pretty nice but who the fuck plays with music enabled?
non-elitists
Gotta say OP, you brought me back to 2010 sitting in my room watching montages all day. Thanks
How the fuck did :11 hit?
How the fuck did :11 hit?
Source replays are a little fucky with precise aiming, they aren't to be trusted
How the fuck did :11 hit?
:11 didn't hit. He's the same guy behind the box who keeps jumping.

Fuck me, I actually remember this video from way back when I was kind of active in the CSGO thread.

I don't think so. OP managed to win because he capitalized on the enemy team being too distracted with his fellow team mates. I only counted 3 good kills with the AWP, but that was for enemies that were close range and -I'm assuming- weren't aware of his location before being in line of sight with him (poor communication on the terrorist's part if that's the case). The rest of the gameplay was him missing or nearly missing, I'd say he was lucky.
Still, that ace though. I can't say I've gotten many myself.
What even is the "secret" to the AWP? I've had bodyshots completely go off target even when I'm standing still. Am I meant to close the gap?

I can safely say that OP is probs GN4 or thereabouts, maybe even lower. The whole play was rubbish and had nothing to do with skill tbh

You just have to stand still long enough for the scope to no longer be blurry then your accuracy should be 100%, it takes good timing. When I've played with the AWP it feels like there's a moment where the scope seems to be in focus but is still slightly blurry so the shot goes off target. If that's not the case for you then I'd guess at it being your ping.

Then you're not standing still. Counter-strafe to fire quickly and accurately.
