Cats.
At 54 seconds the cat pulls the wallet towards as if to say "ooh walle-nope it's empty"
I'm never going to understand why cats do that.
I fucking died at 2:10. What a dick.
I'm never going to understand why cats do that.
Mine don't. But then again mine are weird. They can't meow and I'm pretty sure one of them is retarded.
Does anyone happen to know why they do that?
Does anyone happen to know why they do that?
They don't like stuff being on the same surface as them or something, cleaning up or something. That or Feng Shui.
I have had 5 cats over a course of about 6-7 years, and none of them have ever done this, well, at least while I'm looking. That said, my oldest at 5 years knows how to open the cupboard doors, pull out a box of food mush sachets and then take out the sachets, rip them open and eat the contents. I had to put frigging magnets on the door.
Cats claim an area for a specified area of time, and it goes in cycles. When a cat finds an area they like for chilling out, they use it for that time, and they might trade it out with another cat at a regular other time. Having stuff in that area during their hang out time means something else is trying to take up their lease time and claim their space. So they remove it. Also falling stuff is fun, even for cats. Combine the two and voila. (They will even do it to other cats, especially if they're jealous.)
I've never had to worry about this because my cat is so fat the only thing she'll attempt to jump on is my bed.
Aren't cats adorable?
Sometimes they are being so delicate about it, as if knocking shit over is an exact science.
I've honestly never seen a cat do something like this before
my cat does this all the fucking time [editline] . [/editline] like i'll stand there watching her like "hey, no." and she'll just slowly push stuff off without breaking eye contact
Here you go guys, be a cat and knockshit over. It's very satisfying http://www.catlateraldamage.com/play
My cats never do this. Instead one likes to piss on things and the other likes to make a mess of her litter tray
What if the cat are actually trying to grab the object but they have no thumbs. They see people pick stuff up off the table and they want to do that but cant because they're cats.
I'm never going to understand why cats do that.
Because cats are assholes
My cat only does this with elongated objects, like pencils. It usually does it because it wants to gnaw on the object on the ground. I can't keep any decent-looking pencils anymore.
On a sort of related topic, there is a page on Wikipedia explaining how cats always fall on their feet. I found the associated GIF explaining it quite hilarious: Go to wikipedia and search for "Cat righting reflex" if you're interested, it's such a science it's funny.
i'm fucking crying
I'm so fucking glad my cats don't do this. One of them is just too fat to bother jumping on stuff and the other only messes with shit already on the floor.
I'm never going to understand why cats do that.
They like to watch stuff fall. Its like when babies pull stuff off the shelves and throw stuff. They are seeing how the physical world works.
My brother has two cats. I love it when they're sitting around some little thing like a soda bottle cap, trying to work out what it is. Then they gently push it, the thing moves and they go completely apeshit jumping around the room swatting it and chasing it until it rolls under a couch and they lose interest.
What if they're actually just trying to pick it up but lack the opposable thumbs necessary to do so?
Aren't cats adorable?
I like how the cat doesn't even look at what just happened.

I heard a crash the other day, opened my bedroom door to investigate, and found that my cats had knocked over the kitchen. The whole kitchen.
is it wrong that I want a cat for this exact novelty?
My cat doesn't knock stuff over. But he's also 10 years old so he's too old and lazy to care anymore.
