i prefer the first option, tbh
Too bad global warming is fake.
There is no global warning. I would do the first option to everyone who claims there is.
God that is an unfunny video.
That sucked, why did you post that? You don't believe in all that crap yourself, do you?
It's Rochelle.
ITT: Everyone is so tough.
i don't believe in global warming because i'm a man
Global warming has become a business, a lot of money is being earned because of it. A lot of Al Gore's arguments are plain false. The upper levels of the atmosphere are not showing an increase in temperature which they would was the earth heating up thanks to CO2. I'm not saying that climate change is not due to us. I'm merely stating that ,right now, we are jumping to conclusions.
Real or fake, only stupid people give a damn about it.
I prefer sitting down, and gently reminding them that CO2 evaporates from water, and as we all know more CO2 evaporates at higher temperatures, meaning that a higher temperature leads to higher CO2 levels, not the other way around. I would then show them statistics, and see if they would like to explain how 97% of CO2 is produced from volcanoes and previously mentioned evaporation, and the ENTIRE HUMAN RACE produces 3% of the earth's yearly CO2. Finally, I would tell them that what they should really be worried about his Dihydrogen Monoxide. If polluted, it can kill hundreds of people. It's in our coffee, our food, and you can find it in almost anything, despite the fact that diseases in it kill hundreds of thousands of people per day, and people become addicted to it, feeling like they need it to survive. Then I'd let them know that Dihydrogen monoxide is the chemical name for H20, i.e. Water. Then I'd let them know that big scary marketing can make a lot of things sound worse than they are. Then, if they still believed in global warming, I'd slap them. Hard. If you wanna do the dihydrogen monoxide thing, here's a list of information about it. Dihydrogen monoxide: is called "hydroxyl acid", the substance is the major component of acid rain. contributes to the "greenhouse effect". may cause severe burns. is fatal if inhaled. contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape. accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals. may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes. has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients. Despite the danger, dihydrogen monoxide is often used: as an industrial solvent and coolant. in nuclear power plants. in the production of Styrofoam. as a fire retardant. in many forms of cruel animal research. in the distribution of pesticides. Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical. as an additive in certain "junk-foods" and other food products.
I prefer sitting down, and gently reminding them that CO2 evaporates from water
yes liquid H2O when heated becomes CO2 this is chemically possible
yes liquid H2O when heated becomes CO2 this is chemically possible
Oops, got my facts mixed up. I meant that more water vapor evaporates into the atmosphere, acting just like CO2 [editline]06:26PM[/editline] Also CO2 dissolves in water. If water evaporates, any CO2 in the water will also evaporate. It may not be chemically bonded, but it's still there.
Oops, got my facts mixed up.
yeah no shit no you're done that was dumb enough for me to completely discount everything you say
I would then show them statistics, and see if they would like to explain how 97% of CO2 is produced from volcanoes and previously mentioned evaporation, and the ENTIRE HUMAN RACE produces 3% of the earth's yearly CO2.
The CO2 that nature emits (from the ocean and vegetation) is balanced by natural absorptions (again by the ocean and vegetation). Therefore human emissions upset the natural balance, rising CO2 to levels not seen in at least 800,000 years. In fact, human emit 26 gigatonnes of CO2 per year while CO2 in the atmosphere is rising by only 15 gigatonnes per year - much of human CO2 emissions is being absorbed by natural sinks. your first post did the same for me to thisispain! haha high five
yeah no shit no you're done that was dumb enough for me to completely discount everything you say
Well that being the case, you can look up everything I've said. They're all theories just as valid as the idea of global warming itself.

thisispain debunked your first point, I debunked your second and the rest is some irrelevant analogy.
thisispain debunked your first point, I debunked your second and the rest is some irrelevant analogy.
lol debunked i just called him dumb for getting something really important wrong
The video is retarded. Most people don't understand global warming and the causes for it very well. People on both sides, actually. It annoys me.
We got more important shit to worry about. Simple as it gets.

Even in the 70's, scientists claimed that by the year 2000, we'd all have to wear gas masks due to all the toxins in the air. Need I mention that we've produced far more amounts of exhaust and CO2 emissions in the 70's that in the past decade? I'd say we're all doing fine. Anyone who truly believes global warming is too ignorant or stupid.
It's Rochelle.
Naw, not annoying enough. [editline]11:41PM[/editline] So basically the solution is not to stop emitting greenhosue gases but to create manmade sinks to balance out the manmade emissions?
We got more important shit to worry about. Simple as it gets.
Agree x1000. Whether global warming is true or not, now is not the time to rape our economy with "green" projects.
I don't understand why "green" and "expensive" must go hand in hand. A lot of environmentally friendly stuff can end up saving money.
Anyone who truly believes global warming is too ignorant or stupid.
yeah you aren't in any position to say such a thing "scientists are ignorant or stupid hurr"
I don't understand why "green" and "expensive" must go hand in hand. A lot of environmentally friendly stuff can end up saving money.
Or help other people make money thus stimulating the economy. Like Bill Gates' new energy plan.
So billions of people and growing and tons of industrial buildings letting off tons of pollution does absolutely nothing to our atmosphere. Damn, FP is stubborn as FUCK.
So billions of people and growing and tons of industrial buildings letting off tons of pollution does absolutely nothing to our atmosphere. Damn, FP is stubborn as FUCK.
Regardless of whether or not you believe in global warming I think we can all agree this is the flimsiest argument ever. "This thing seems like it should do some stuff so if you don't think it does you are stubborn." That is not how science is done, man.
