This live action "The Last of Us" film is looking great
looks really good
This is set in 2024 so how come Wolverine has aged so dramatically?
Old man Logan, he lost his regeneration power I think?

I read that in this movie he still has it but way more slower.
It looks awesome, may have a lack of mutants unfortunately, but the character dynamics look very promising.

After what The Silver Samurai did to him in The Wolverine you could argue it had this effect on him.

That was kinda retconned because of days of future past
Sensing a lot of Old Man Logan vibes in this, which has me HYPED.
Man, fuck trying to figure out what's canon and what's not now after DoFP, outside of FC, DoFP and AoA. Just try and enjoy it as it's own film
Lil X-23.
Fuck, that scene of him running through the forest reminding me of what happened in the comics. Am gonna cry.
seeing a bedridden patrick stewart makes me realize how old he is now :(

Darkness. I like it.
There's also a Red Band trailer

His regeneration power was lessens by the japanese guy

[sp]But didn't he also get his claws cut off, and have them grow back as bone? I saw the adamantium in this trailer[/sp]
The Wolverine never happened.
X2, X-Men 3, Origins, and The Wolverine never happened because of Days of Future Past.
[editline]20th October 2016[/editline]
He still remembers them though so while the events never happened, his mind still experienced them, but not his body.
We could argue the time travel logic and continuity distortions but really at this point:

This actually looks really good. And as others have said I think Hugh could make a pretty good Joel for a Last of Us movie. It has a really similar feel, just need the freaky clicker zombies and we're set.
tbh the wolverine could have still happened in the new timeline before wolverine killed and took over wolverine 2's body at the end of dofp.
the only confirmed retcons were the original trilogy of movies.

Not really, considering The Wolverine only happened because of X-Men 3.

not really, considering the reason why he goes to japan is entirely separate from what his character development was.

Theres really no way to know if it happened or not, and even if it did, to what extent it did or how different it was, considering the original trilogy pretty much never happened, though.
Yeah he was summoned there because WW2 dude, but the circumstances and his emotional state would pretty much be totally different.
Like theres no real reason Xavier couldnt be just checking up on whats going on because he wasnt [sp]presumed dead from being incinerated by the dark phoenix[/sp] and go "this guy wants to do some shit"
I like how this movie is kinda unique and seems to be straying away from the typical super hero movie format.
Also like the ballsy move of not calling it "WOLVERINE: Subtitle"

I like to thing that they chose not to go with the Wolverine: Blah Blah path is because this is branching more towards Logan than his Wolverine persona, honestly I prefer it when Marvel focuses more on Logan himself than the product of a failed weapons program.
I mean, Logan's history is deep and pretty fucked up but they barely ever mention or show it, or when they do its such a mash it has no consistent path.
There's something really sad and heartbreaking to see two very well known superheroes that have been around since the 2000's looking very beaten down, old and frail. This movie is going to be a F**king amazing send off to huge jackman's wolverine and Patrick Stewart's Xavier this trailer alone sold me on it, plus i really love the old western vibe it has going for it plus the over all gritty tone and nature of it, plus the r rating is just the cherry on top for this film, consider me pumped for this one.
Well holy shit I should probably go see the other X-men movies.
