How long can you store a joint? - General

I got my hands on some pot that I want to store for a few weeks, until my bro comes home again, but how long can you store it? [img]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/94/Joint.jpg[/img] Does it turn bad or something like that? I'm sorry if it's a dumb question, but I have absolutely no experience with drugs.

It'll dry out if you don't keep it airtight, but it doesn't really go bad. Put it in a ziplock and suck the air out, or put it in a ball jar if you have one.

It sounds a bit stupid. But 'apparently' freezing it should keep the freshness just like food and whatever else. How many joints do you have?

It will be fine, if you leave it out in air it will dry it and will taste nasty. But as long as it is air tight will be fine. Or break the joint apart, and leave it with orange for a bit.

Putting a screen on your pipe is completely different to putting a filter in a joint. A screen doesn't filter out THC, it just stops you from choking on half burnt bud. A filter however, does absorb a shitload of THC. That's why it's called a [B]FILTER[/B] so considering a joint isn't the most efficient way of smoking in the firstplace you're just making it even worse. Also if you're pulling shit through your roaches you need to learn to fucking roll xD Grade tastes horrible with a filter anyway and it's like sucking maple syrup through a garden hose.

Well that depends really, are they using a CIGARETTE filter or just a rolled up peice of paper. A cigarette filter will definitely filter out a lot of the cannabinoids, but a rolled up piece of paper will collect some of them but not much. Filters can be a great way to increase the airflow your getting for some pretty massive rips even though I don't use them I wouldn't bash on someone that does. But, to the OP I can say that you should keep it in the freezer in a AIRTIGHT container because if your joint drys up it will burn very quickly and probably be pretty harsh on the throat! To get a reel smooth smoke and have absolutely nothing come through, roll your roaches into Ms. It's an M/zig zag shape with card going round it. yeah you can, i usually just tear a bit off of the rizla pack i'm using though i also have a reusable metal roach which is the perfect cone shape to help rolling, and also gives you a really smooth smoke

my pipe doesn't have a gauze on it, would a tight roach do the trick?
