I actually saw Topol (Tevye, the guy singing the song) in his farewell tour a few months back. Had no idea who he was until after I got home and Googled his name since everyone in the theater wouldn't shut up about him.

He's been playing that role for the majority of his life, so needless to say, his acting was seamless. His performance was better live, considering he'd been doing it for an additional 30 years since the movie.
