I might be wrong, but I don't think they mean "get lost" in the fuck off sense, they are encouraging people to literally get lost and explore something other than typical tourist attractions.

Me and my dad actually went to Singapore in early 2010 and guess what we did?

We intentionally got lost by wandering around without looking at any maps or asking for directions just so that we could end up in these places that you wouldn't normally go if you where a tourist. our favourite thing to do down there was to sit down on a bench and observe people.
