The only difference in that trailer from Battlefield 2 to me is the voice overs from Bad Company 2 and the graphics looked like they were left on low. I still have BF2 installed and would rather play that.

Why'd they replace MEC with Russians? Doesn't really make much sense US and Russia fighting in the middle-east against each other.

I'll play it, Only because i absolutely loved Battlefield 2. This should be pretty decent, seeing as they will be persistently updating it and fixing bugs. Like the dreaded dolphin diving glitch. The combat looks very different.
Meh, who knows. What a horrible name though.
