• Wanting to buy a vaporizer

I'm a non-smoker that's intrigued by the habit of smoking alone, but I hate nicotine, so I've wanted to know more about vaporizers to see if it's something safe for me to adopt. I see countless people, both that smoke and do not, using them nowadays and there seems to be more and more variations coming out that just overwhelm my thoughts on what I think should be correct for me. So, two things I'd like to know more about: 1. What kind of vaporizers are there and what's recommended for starters like myself? 2. What kinds of liquid/solids are safe to use and your thoughts on the best hit? Please refrain from using chemical/compound names too much unless giving an explanation, as I'm not likely to understand
Welcome to Facepunch. I think you want to go to the durgs discussion, bro. It's in the lower right corner of the forums.
You can get nicotine free liquids.
1. What kind of vaporizers are there and what's recommended for starters like myself? 2. What kinds of liquid/solids are safe to use and your thoughts on the best hit?
As a starter, you'll most likely end up with an ego variant of some kind. Do NOT buy your vape from a shop, retail prices are horrendous. Always get your vapes and juices online. As far as liquids, you'll have to do some searching/shopping to find something you really like. Seriously, think Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. You can find just about any flavor under the rainbow. Start off at a low nicotine juice as a starter. I personally vape a mechanical King mod that produces huge clouds of smoke and will make you nic-sick really fast, but to each their own.
I got the vape extreme Q you can get one for 145 and its amazing don't be lazy look it up I had one for 3years now and working like new matter of fact I'm using it right NOW! It's right up there with the Volcano in my opinion
I'm not a vape user, but you should also be aware of your state and/or city legislation or school/employer policy on them if you want to use them in public areas, especially indoors. In some cases, they are treated no different than any other sort of smoking. I bring them this up as they were banned from indoor use by our university so its something to be aware of.
. Start off at a low nicotine juice as a starter. .
Since he's a non smoker, I think he's better off with a zero nicotine juice.
the Kanger Pro line is good, it's pretty popular around here and i haven't known of anyone have any problems with them. they're not too expensive and are good starters. i have the pro tank mini 2, with a vision spinner (it has an adjustable voltage so you can choose if you want a fuller drag or less) but you don't need to have an adjustable one, it's just a nice little extra. the whole setup cost ~£35, bottles of juice are £4.50 in the local shop (they make them from scratch) and it lasts me about a month, and i'm only really a recreational user i.e. out drinking or socialising, not a day-in-day-out smoker. i'd definitely recommend a zero nicotine juice if you don't smoke already/have never smoked. [editline]31st May 2014[/editline] also re: "the best hit", you're not going to get a hit with zero nicotine. nicotine is a stimulant and is what gives you the hit, so if that's what you're after (but not a horrific nicotine rush that you'll get with a real cigarette) 6mg is usually advised. [editline]31st May 2014[/editline] also i've never heard of solids being used, vape liquid is comprised (in varying amounts depending on the seller) propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin, this is what creates the vapour nicotine, in varying amounts food grade flavouring
Get that vape that's like a volcano
1. I have a Halo Triton, starter kit comes with 2 full units, a USB and wall charger. http://www.halocigs.com/triton-tank-system/triton-starter-kits.html 2. Dude, it's all based on personal preference. This isn't pot, it's not really about getting a 'hit' It's all based on taste preference. Although it's all glycol based, it's safer and healthier than normal cigars and cigarettes, inhaling vaporized anything into your lungs isn't healthy by any means. The eliquid I use is through exotic vapors which has pretty much ANY flavor you want which you can customize the flavor amount, menthol and nicotine content. My favorite happens to be double flavor ginger ale. http://www.exoticvapors.net/
The best vape for the price? The da buddha or the arizer extreme Q 4.0, the da buddha will have a lightly greater vapor quality and heat faster, while the arizer got more features, including a fan. Portable vape wont give you a great vape quality like tower one remember. I have the arizer extreme Q and i loved it, you can use a whip or a bag like the volcano, but now i dont smoke weed anymore.
If you haven't smoked before but are interested in e-cigs, see if you can pick up a disposable e-cig somewhere first to get a try at the whole shebang.
This starter kit is where it's at. Choose a 50/50 pg/vg juice, 0 nicotine, and make sure it won't crack the plastic tanks.
I've used nicotine and water+propylene glycol vaporizers. They're not bad. I have picked up disposable ones from gas stations since I don't really do it much at all. I'd recommend trying one out to see if it's even something you'd like, so you don't end up sinking a bunch of money into something you don't want to use.
sorry man but that's pretty stupid If you don't smoke weed, why would you even want a vape? It's pointless. If you're just going to put tobacco in it then you're wasting a great deal of money for nothing Buy and Ecig, they won't hurt you, they're fun at parties, and it's like having a shisha in your pocket. I used to hate on them, but then I used some

Been trying these for a while, you got me to actually buy a proper ("second generation") vaporizer. Tried these disposables for a while, then went on to the e-cigarette version that has a battery and these loose "caps". The problem with these is that I got quite a dry/rough throat - I suppose because it had more "PG" then "VG" (probably no VG at all) If I understand correctly VG's are made from purely natural oils / essences, PG is the same stuff that they use for smoke-generators at a party. Don't quote me on that tough, i'm no scientist. I guess you could try to get a disposable one first, then get a pack, like the one ChezHead posted. You could also get a single one, and something of a neckstrap. I could order a pack like that for about 25 bucks here. One battery should last long enough, if you're not actually a smoker. What got me REALLY over the edge was this (hour long) video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6KBGH2F63A Seems to be one of the few independent studies done, taking quite a lot into consideration (imo).
Welcome to Facepunch. I think you want to go to the durgs discussion, bro. It's in the lower right corner of the forums.
It is Glod Menbers only
please whatever you do dont get a cigalike at first. they suck. instead if u wanna go all out buy an innokin itaste mvp v2 or if you dont want to use that much money, get an innokin itaste vv3.0. a good clearo would be something by kanger, like autumn said above. an aspire nautilus would be really good if u happen to get the mvp 2 (nautilus has adjustable airflow). i highly recommend Mtbakervapor to get your juices from, been loving every single one of them! hope this helps u oh the reason why im suggestin the mvp or vv is because they are variable wattage and variable voltage, you can tinker with the roughness and fullness of the hits with those
please whatever you do dont get a cigalike at first. they suck.
Quite right, actually. The proper pens have a way smoother hit. On a more personal note, i'm gonna try my hand at making my own E-Juice once the package comes int. Should be a whole-lot cheaper then buying e-liquids seperate, plus this way I'm sure I'm smoking pure VG-juice. There's a pretty simple tutorial on the U-Toob. Here's hoping I don't choke and die
I just use my EGO 510 threaded pen. The heads and such are exceptionally cheap off of ebay. Granted I have received mine from a friend, I highly recommend it to you.
