If you are unemployed it's not because there isn't any work
I'm unemployed because nobody will hire me. No work is available. There is no work. There are certainly things to be done, but there is no work. At least, none that I'm qualified for and nobody will give me a chance to become qualified. It's also worth noting that everything in the video is coming from an employed individual.

I could get one very easily at 15, don't see why you couldn't.
Well I'm qualified to work in the food industry, but I don't have sufficient experience. I literally went through 50 pages of food industry job offers at the job bank. All of them required 4 years of experience :suicide:

I don't think this guy understands how the world works as much as he thinks he does. In saying that, there is always a job you can do to survive. You might not prosper but you won't die. Till you get cancer or something.
too often i hear people my age say "there aren't any jobs. i've looked" and/or "they all want experience!". the thing is though no one seems willing enough to drop their dumb standards to actually find the jobs yeh it can be tough but way too often people, usually young students, say "nope there's no jobs" after they've applied to a handful of aspirational shops; supermarkets, clothing chains, electronics stores etc. i can't claim to know what it's like everywhere in the world or even across my entire city but, at least for people similar to myself - middleclass students in affluent-ish UK cities - there'll be a retail job nearby if you can just stoop low enough
