The reasons why some of the older pony.movs are still funny and actually funny is because they satirize the existing concepts, while this is just going like "haha this is funny because it's violent stuff happening in a kids cartoon lol." It also had set-ups for the reasons why the events made sense, and why they were funny.

I don't mind him making pony cartoons, but making a "Spiritual Successor" to another Youtube video seems like a really weird idea, especially when the creator of the originals is still up and making content. Also the fact that he's trying to copy his style just makes this whole thing seem kind of pointless, surely if you're pouring hundreds of hours into animating you want to animate your own stuff?

I'd say they fizzled to ~30% of the height of the brony empire, BUT there's a weird recent development where markiplier dyed his hair bright pink, and someone photoshopped a youtube screencap where the title is that he's announcing he's a brony, SOOOOO brace yourself
I don't mind or care what extra stuff this guy does. I'll just watch whatever other stuff he produces that interests me if he ever gets to it. If he doesn't... oh well.

Ya the pony stuff was pretty good
We might've overreacted to him making MLP parody content IMO, if you watch Pony.Mov it's clear that what he made is essentially just being a parody of a parody and not attempting to be a whole lot more than that. And hell, I laughed a few times -- I didn't have to love the subject matter to like a quick shock-joke with good timing.
And seriously, it's not as though he's done making anything else forever. Everything that built up during the Meet The Amazing Team series potential-wise is still there and ready to be expanded upon. Ponies won't kill his career if FNAF didn't.
I probably won't watch his pony stuff purely because as soon as I do youtube is going to think I want to watch more pony related videos and start trying to recommend them.

From what I've seen, most of the Bronies have migrated from MLP to being wanted to be fucked by animatronic fox pirates.
And this is coming from someone who knew multiple people who were into MLP that want to do this.
