Most HIV/AIDS babies die shortly after birth or are born still (Dead in the womb). The ones that are lucky enough to survive
either don't have HIV, or have it, and have to fight every day against this terrible disease.

By treating the mother with medicine during birth, doing a C-section and not letting the mother breast feed the chances of infecting the child with HIV are reduced to 2%.
