now thats a punchable face
The facial hair is douchey, but everything else looks totally fine.
he looks like a hipster slav super mario
douchey looking host? check. unnecessary and cringeworthy quips? check. designated area to put relevant information and sometimes memes? check.
Why does he remind me of Anthony Burch in appearance so much?
Guys it was the only source I could find as so far Jim hasn't posted his own video reaction to the thing yet. So just deal with Octopimp with a douche stache and let's talk about how bullshit this doxing is.
You can just take Jim's response directly. Not a video but still clear.

Digital Homicide is like everything bad about indie videogame devs in 1 company.
They're just giving Jim Sterling more exposure.
Digital Homicide is like everything bad about indie videogame devs in 1 company.
Hardly a company, just a couple of revolting shitlickers who can't take honest criticism. Are they even a registered business?
You'd think that they would learn from last Fall and Spring but no. This just further rules them out as a bunch of malicious misfits.
Jim fucking Sterling son
It really amazes me how people will spend so much time and effort attacking a single person. Fucking babies can't handle someone disliking their "game" and all of this happens because of it.
Holy fuck how far will this go. Imagine if this leads to murder and the kind of ripple that'll have on the gaming and journalism world as a whole.
This isn't just shooting themselves in the foot. Digital Homicide just blew their leg off.
who? uh what
Holy fuck how far will this go. Imagine if this leads to murder and the kind of ripple that'll have on the gaming and journalism world as a whole.
They're the only ones who don't like him. Plenty of people have been doxxed without being murdered :v:.
Holy fuck how far will this go. Imagine if this leads to murder and the kind of ripple that'll have on the gaming and journalism world as a whole.
I doubt his life is at risk.
I doubt his life is at risk.
These guys have had this irrational hateboner over ONE guy who called them out on their shit and have continued to do so for over a year now, finding multiple ways to silence him. At this point I'm starting to think anything's fair game.
Holy fuck how far will this go. Imagine if this leads to murder and the kind of ripple that'll have on the gaming and journalism world as a whole.
The worst thing to happen to most doxxed people is swatting, and even then, that doesnt happen to everoyne. I doubt someone would want Jim Sterling dead lol.
who? uh what
Jim's personal summary of the affair: That's the background prior to this, click the ask.fm link I posted above to see his current response to this, not sure if he's gonna make a new video about this. And to be clear: Imminent Uprising = Digital Homicide, they've uploaded games on Greenlight under four or five different studio names, Jim made a video somewhere summarizing them all. I think this is it:

Wow, something about Digital Homicide sounded familiar and sure enough, I found their website where i saw that cesspit of a "game" called Devil's Share. I know about it because i watched the Birgirpall guys play it and as much as i love their videos i couldn't watch it till the end. The fact that they call themselves indie developers is disgusting, and now they pull off this doxxing crap. Digital Homicide? More like Digital Suicide.
to this? no i meant this guy in general, never heard of him before
Is it really necessary to come into a thread about a specific person just to tell everyone you've never heard of them?
Is it really necessary to come into a thread about a specific person just to tell everyone you've never heard of them?
just curious.. seems to be big, this
to this? no i meant this guy in general, never heard of him before
Jim is a video game journalist at destructoid and escapist. He has his own Youtube channel, in which he discusses recent things in video game news and features some bad games in steam in his greenlight trailers videos. The reason why this dev does not like jim is becouse his game was featured in those greenlight videos.
to this? no i meant this guy in general, never heard of him before
Jim Sterling's a games reviewer/journalist/comedian/whatever who makes lots of videos where he either reviews a game or gives his thoughts on gaming controversies and problems in gaming. While the majority of what he says is serious, he uses a sort of narcissistic persona as a joke. He tends to be very polarizing because of how brutally honest he is about what he thinks (think Totalbiscuit) and often the things he says sparks controversies, but I think he's pretty great most of the time. His show is called The Jimquisition, it used to be hosted on The Escapist, but he went independent and now the show is crowdfunded. Aaaand, that's about all you need to know.
