I wish a lot of western developers shared the same standard of high quality as these guys.
Shit, their concepts already look and sound amazing, yet in the video they are still doubtful and they want to make it even better.
Keiji seems like a really cool guy, can't wait to see the final game, and I hope it's very successful so they can continue with their own independent IP. It would be nice to see a trend start where developers who are/were conflicted with producer design decisions start their own independent project, I feel like so many games could be improved if the decisions and design were left solely up to the developer, instead of having a big AAA IP to preserve.
I like how the big point they make with Kickstarter is that it makes for a really idealistic way of making and funding your project/game.
I mean, Kickstarter is literally putting your idea out and saying "how much do you want this" to the masses, and you aren't bound by like he said, the constraints of a publisher.
I hate how the art style looks like a flash game

The game is in 3d, any of the "screenshots" are concept art.
I think I'll absolutely love this game, but I am saddened by the fact that it probably won't reach the 2,750,000 stretch goal, which adds multiplayer co-op to the game. Here's to hoping he'll put it in regardless.

In the last 48 hours there will probably be a pretty big push. I'm confident we'll reach that, and possibly even the one after. Anything above 3 million will be pushing it though, but I'm assuming we'll see a PS4/Xbox One version regardless, just at a later date.

It'd be the best looking flash game I'd ever played then. The hell are your standards?

You're one of those people who think that everything 2D is automatically a flash game, aren't you?
That piano version of the Main Theme.
2 Player Productions make such great documentaries

They're the default go-to guys for video-game documentaries for a reason.
It's fun to see the video from the pax announcement and just how many devs are there among the fans.
The camera hovered over Vella from Capy the most, but there were some other recognizable faces.
I know Inafune's teams are going to release a great product, but I hope they don't become victims of fans' expectations.

Inafune is one of the best game developers I've ever seen. He's definitely one of Japan's best.
And a lot of Western Developers do share their high quality standard, its juts the mass marketed ones don't have the time or budget for that polish.
My second favorite is the Lead Developer behind the Aces Project, he's a fucking nutjob.
Nice shot of The Protomen in the announcement event there.
And that weapon change animation was sick. I'm looking forward to this game.
That weapon change animation looks a lot like something out the the Mega Man EXE anime.
