Vsauce is great for learning things you never knew you could be interesting!
I've always been interested in perspective, I try to "deconstruct" things I'm seeing into a 2D plane in my spare time.
Awesome point about pre-Renaissance paintings. They also tended to make holy figures look 'cartoonish' (such as giving the baby Jesus an adult face) to show how 'not of this Earth' they were.

...Oh my god, I never expected this, but this helped so much. I was making an animation in Flash where the camera was pulling out of something but it looked weird and I could never figure out why... turns out it's a matter of camera zoom vs. camera movement, whether everything is changing at once or changing based on distance.
I dunno about you guys, but this is my favourite Vsauce video yet.
Am I the only one who expected to see Arnold Schwarzenegger on the moon?
