Surprised Deus Ex: Mankind Divided isn't there, considering "Augment Your Preorder" probably hurt a lot of sales.
Surprised Deus Ex: Mankind Divided isn't there, considering "Augment Your Preorder" probably hurt a lot of sales.
It probably wasn't included due to the fact that it isn't as interesting as leaving scattered body parts around London.
surprised dante's inferno wasn't on there
surprised dante's inferno wasn't on there
As incredible as the marketing was, it didn't really backfire. Also fuck, Dovahkiin is 6 years old now.
I've heard weirder names then Dovahkiin
I've heard weirder names then Dovahkiin
Didn't some brony named his kid after a mlp character?
When he said "I find it kinda funny" I immediately started singing and was amazed at the how the video responded. That is clever writing.
I've heard weirder names then Dovahkiin
Acclaim tried a similar stunt, challenging parents to name their kids Turok. AFAIK nobody took up the offer
Didn't some brony named his kid after a mlp character?
If i recall correctly it was someone on deviantart, named their fucking kid "Pinkamena Pie [Surname]", apparently becasue a friend of theirs had a kid named "Optimus Prime" :v:
I saw a list of "outrageous baby names" and one was a Californian woman who named her son "Cool". Not for any contest, just because. And then there were the Japanese parents who sued the government because they were prevented from naming their child Akuma ("Devil"). They claimed they wanted a striking name that'd be memorable, and the government refused to register it on account of predicting a lifetime of bullying for the kid named the local equivalent of "Satan", and Japanese bullying is some next-level shit because it's built into the traditional cultural element of conformity. People don't need the incentive of money to do dumb things.
That peter molyneux burn was so weak, probably the worst so far.
Only the first one was really at all eyebrow-raising. A terrible list, 0/10 geddafuck outta here Larry.
can someone please post a summary of the list please I'm a lazy cunt but still interested haha please
can someone please post a summary of the list please I'm a lazy cunt but still interested haha please
5. Juiced made gamers seem like rapists that objectified women. One was naming a baby Dovahkiin The rest were all "company leaves fake body parts all over London."
I expected more from this video to be honest. I thought he'd go into the backlashes the companies faced from doing these but most of the time he just explains what happened and not many consequences it had or even if the marketing campaign worked with sales figures etc. I just got the feeling that the guy making these was kind of lazy and had to pump this out as fast as possible.
am i the only one that doesn't find larry bundy that particularly interesting? to me he just seems like he wants to be TotalBiscuit but drier, somehow. he comes off as a tryhard to me personally

Or for that matter, "TotalBiscuit"
Larry's content is fine, but maybe just not for everyone.
When he said "I find it kinda funny" I immediately started singing and was amazed at the how the video responded. That is clever writing.
i thought it was funny but it was unnecessary to say more that those 2 lines. would have been more clever if it just left it as that. however larry has improved greatly over the past year and his videos are at least not 25 minute snore fests anymore.
I recall a particularly bad one of some dude pulling a gun in the middle of a crowded restaurant, I think it was a Splinter Cell marketing stunt but I can't remember clearly.
I like Larry but this episode is a bit of a dud. Maybe we just have different ideas of shocking but none of these seem particularly bad to me. It's not putting "Shadowman" on your grave or accidentally causing a bomb scare, like other marketing stunts have done.

The molyneux jabs feel really awful a lot of times, like it's become a pattern where your video needs to have a molyneux joke in there
