Imagine your parents walking into your room and recording you playing a game of ArmA or something and you didn't know. There you were, proning and rolling around in your room while waving around a game controller and blindfiring like this guy. I would explode from laughter, it must be insane fun though.
Looks like the funnest shit ever.

step up modern electronics
It's not so much modern electronics as it is emulating it at home but on a more personal scale and design.
Receiver 2.0?
I like it.
one of the few things we actually get to live and experience in our life time that will change a lot of aspecs in current technology.
People need to start making on-rail shooters with this stuff. Movement and stuff seems really gimmicky, and feels like it can be solved by combining it with Kinect or something.
What I wouldn't give to play Receiver with one of these

What you wouldn't give?
Is this like americans saying 'I could care less'?
I want to play stalker with it. I'll drink vodka and eat sausages and bread to better simulate the experience

a time crisis or house of the dead remake would be sick
I imagine if I tried playing mirrors edge with this I'd go through my window or some shit.

Then you step on a whirligig anomaly and start floating and spinning.
Incredible
An even more embarrassing way to do squats
I could see myself accidentally diving into a shelf and breaking my nose because of this kind of immersion, but fuck if I'm not going to try it anyways.
NOTE: never play with your friends.
you will be recorded and humiliated.
I don't know why FPS games are being pushed so much, they will never work properly IMO. Keep it to sims.

The guy coded it so arrows and warnings pop up around you to indicate if you're about to run into nearby objects or are wrapping yourself in the wires and so forth. Somehow.

Thats genius
- snip -
This + Omnidirectional Treadmill
Fuck FPS games, GET ME SOME MEDIEVAL HACK AND SLASHING GOING ON.

Yeah, that's the red grid you're seeing in the game. Warns you about that.

"I could care less" and "what I wouldn't give" have the same stress patterns as "I should be so lucky" and "tell me about it" if you haven't noticed
hotd3 didn't have cover as far as i remembered
I don't know which one, but I remember playing one of the hotd games and when you aimed off screen you'd duck behind cover
i know it may come as a shock
but its not just americans that don't understand the concept of 'couldn't care less'
I always thought it was just an American thing, honestly. I haven't heard anyone say that outside of the americas.
Why are people getting so insulted over what I said? It was just curiosity. I'm not poking fun at americans or anything, the UK has its fair share of stupid language rules too.
i dont think that was any of them, it did it for time crisis though
time crisis (or at least time crisis 2) had a pedal.
it may very well be another game I'm thinking of, I haven't played house of the dead in probably 8 or 10 years
Not for me, oculus rift is my limit.
Do you guys know that Wii game where you're that dude running through the countryside (you play as your avatar) and you swing the sword at people with your WiiMote to kill them? I wish Wii made a game like that, but you could move wherever you wanted, and could build castles and shit and attack other castles. That would be the best.
A game like that - if it was made - would be a bestseller.

None of the HotD games have cover. Only Time Crisis.
