James Rolfe, most likely known as the Angry Videogame Nerd to you, made a small documentation about his life and the source of his inspiration. It is a really sad insight into his life. I can't mediatag it, as it isn't hosted on youtube, but you really shouldn't miss this one: http://www.cinemassacre.com/2010/06/21/the-dragon-in-my-dreams/

It was pretty cool.
So he's from Philadelphia? I know he lives in new jersey, but when he said he was returning to the park which was near the hospital where he was born, a SEPTA bus drives past his car. I can tell from the color scheme, SEPTA being Philadelphia's bus service. Huh, interesting.
I hope he makes a feature length film some day.
That was pretty damn insightful.
That was awesome man...
He's cool. I couldn't believe he's almost thirty already.
That was amazing.
So he's from Philadelphia?
Instantly triggered this: (specifically 0:21) Is that unhealthy?
I was moved
This guy is like a Chris Chan who goes outside.
I hope he makes that big movie he's always been dreaming of...
What the fuck, James
Simple. He wanted to become Giygas. Finding this was impossible, he became a film-maker.
james is a fucking genius that was amazing

In west Philadelphia, born and raised, on the sofa is where he spent most of his days. Chillin' out lax and relaxin all cool and all stompin' some goombas in the first level When a couple of koopas, who were up to no good Started making trouble for nintendo nerd He got in one little rant, and his mum got scared And said "You're moving on to Genesis to play some good games" He whistled past some rings as fast as a flick Whilst talkin' bout the flaws of the game mechanics "If anything, I could say the camera is wrong, but oh nah forget it Yo mom moving on!" He pulled up to a laptop, about 17 or 18, and yelled to the camera "This game... it's excruciating!!" He looked at his collection, he was finally heard, he could settle his thrown, as the Prince of the nerds
That was touching. And what are the odds, going back to your place from childhood only minutes before it gets removed? James is a great man, may he make movies for a long time to come.
Inspiring
I cried... This is so touching.
Oh snap my earliest memory was a dream too.
I like how fucked up it is that as soon as leaves the site the guy immediately starts working again.
