As good as his editorials are, he's less entertaining as a let's player than DSP.

He is great at shitty steam early access games but at actual good ones not so much.

This isn't a Jimquisition, Jimquisition is where he actually writes up a script and talks about an issue. This is just one of his throwaway LP videos.

I can see where he's coming from, though. I haven't played this game yet, but I remember in Portal 2 when you would be running from GLaDOS and you hit a loading screen, and it would just suck the excitement and immersion out of the scene. Especially when the music would stop playing.

Jim is best when he's ranting or just playing terrible games. Otherwise he's really bland.

That's just a limitation of the engine though, not exactly something they can fix.

Yeah, if he plays a good game I usually skip over those videos. He's great when he plays awful early access or even buggy finished games. He even says in one of his videos "You can tell it's a good game because I'm not saying much" so he kind of admits it too.
