• Need Some Airsoft Stealth Loadouts

The field me and my team goes to is huge jungle almost with bushes everywhere, so we sneak around a lot, but we're not doing very well with these heavy ass guns, if you can help me find a: -Light and small airsoft gun -A lightweight vest preferably black. -Some communication device (earpiece or something) -Black Uniform Links would be cool
Dude tigerstripe, M56, and XM177 for max vietnam something or other
Why would you use a black vest and uniform, that is literally the worst color for stealth.
Something really lightweight like M56, ALICE, a battle belt, or just a low-profile plate carrier works pretty good. The less you have to carry, the less stuff you'll need to put things in so travel lightly. I manage to be reasonably sneaky just in tigerstripe with a (somewhat) lightweight OD plate carrier. Most of the time whilst using an M14, too, and that thing's hardly compact.
Definitely don't do black. You'll stick out like a sore thumb. For jungle-ish vegetation, tiger stripe will definitely be the best. Go with a belt rig for light weight, and carry only what you must. Also don't be afraid for your uniform to be a bit baggy. The eye catches the shape of a person just as much as the colors, so having your form slightly obscured by loose clothing can be a large advantage in thick, dark veg.
Thanks, Now what gun should I use?
What do you have currently?
What do you have currently?
A full metal AKM, I need something lighter. I'm literally in the fetal position because of the fucking weight.
Thanks, Now what gun should I use?
Light weight is a bonus, so if you have no problem with a polymer body, a combat machine, a G36, an mp5, or some other polymer gun. If you want metal, Definitely go with a short barreled M4 from a quality brand like G&P, Outfitted with some slim handguards, a lipo, and a car stock for ultimate minimalism and weight reduction. Also, the weight of magazines piles up, so go for plastic midcaps. They're more durable than metal ones, in my opinion, are much lighter, and feed the exact same. Midcaps are a must though. The lower capacity keeps weight down, and the feeding mechanism keeps them from rattling like a highcap would so you can sneak more effectively. Also, hiking shoes over military type boots. Higher mobility means you can be more precise where you place your feet. Could help keep quiet in a thicket full of crunchy branches or something.
An SMG might be worth looking at, but it depends on the kinds of ranges you end up fighting at usually. I've heard that Galaxy MP5Ks are pretty good, i'm sure Notrabies or someone who's had one might be able to tell you why.
akm ain't heavy at all what you talkin about (though i'm one to talk, being the resident PKM gunner) MP5Ks are able to outrange many long guns with $20 of upgrades
I'd recommend a TM MP7 AEG. Plastic, small, quiet.
If you need lightweight, I would say a jg g36c.
I recommend: M81 bdu set Lightweight chest rig (I reccomend the Condor MCR4 with pouches) Combat machine Elite Force 140rd plastic midcaps That's what I run for cqb but with a metal and no bdu. In my opinion WL marpat and M81 work the best in jungles.
I'd recommend a TM MP7 AEG. Plastic, small, quiet.
Woodsofting with an AEP is a very terrible idea, fps that low will just not do it for cutting through any vegetation, and AEP hops aren't that good for range. Galaxy MP5K master race 100%.
you need to just lift weights. an AKM is hardly heavy.
you need to just lift weights. an AKM is hardly heavy.
Fuck you the AKM is my weight.
I second the Galaxy MP5k all the way. The only downside is the lack of space for a larger battery than the terrible one that it comes with leaving you up to taping a battery to the side, or coming up with a more creative solution. I'll be testing the range outdoors at the OP I'm going to tomorrow. I'm curious to see how it will fair against my G&G Combat Machine with 0.25s.
Fuck you the AKM is my weight.
you must have spaghetti for arms dude seriously if you cant haul around a 7lb airsoft gun Im not sure you are healthy enough to play this sport lol
Does the galaxy MP5K use proprietary internals, or could you put the gearbox into a full-sized MP5 with a full stock for maximum battery space?
Does the galaxy MP5K use proprietary internals, or could you put the gearbox into a full-sized MP5 with a full stock for maximum battery space?
why not just like stick a full MP5 stock and a new wiring harness on the MP5K? that'd probably look pretty badass actually [editline]e[/editline] yep looks ballin' as hell
you must have spaghetti for arms dude seriously if you cant haul around a 7lb airsoft gun Im not sure you are healthy enough to play this sport lol
Things get heavier in dense jungle and vines with 100+ temperatures and 70% humidity. Not sure on where he's located, but I doubt I could've carried an AKM around all day at BTA.
why not just like stick a full MP5 stock and a new wiring harness on the MP5K? that'd probably look pretty badass actually
I thought about that but i didn't think you could fit ordinary MP5 stocks onto the MP5k due to the back of the reciever being slightly shorter and missing the part that the stock pin goes through. I'd love an MP5K with a full stock and an SP89 handguard.
why not just like stick a full MP5 stock and a new wiring harness on the MP5K? that'd probably look pretty badass actually
MP5k won't take full size MP5 stocks. The rear end is a bit different. Stock mounts internally instead of externally. Also, MP5k is v3 and MP5 is v2.
The JG G36C gets kinda heavy after a while. The MP5K is a much better choice for maneuverability.
you must have spaghetti for arms dude seriously if you cant haul around a 7lb airsoft gun Im not sure you are healthy enough to play this sport lol
I may have exaggerated a little bit, I practice in parkour so a gun that big in scale is still an inconvenience. I usually run all the way to the other side in a minute and I just sort of blend in.
I'll be testing the range outdoors at the OP I'm going to tomorrow. I'm curious to see how it will fair against my G&G Combat Machine with 0.25s.
If both hopups are stock the Galaxy will probably win, and if both hopups are modified the Galaxy will definitely win.
why not just like stick a full MP5 stock and a new wiring harness on the MP5K? that'd probably look pretty badass actually [editline]e[/editline] yep looks ballin' as hell
If you haven't already, look at the rear of the receiver. Where the rear pins are is where the stock is supposed to be, but since you can't fit it, it looks like they made their own plastic connecting piece. That part looks a bit silly but as a whole it does look pretty cool.
MP5k won't take full size MP5 stocks. The rear end is a bit different. Also, MP5k is v3 and MP5 is v2.
Yup, and the V3 gearbox and the MP5K hopup are what makes them such a great gun despite the super cheap externals.
The JG G36C gets kinda heavy after a while. The MP5K is a much better choice for maneuverability.
only because you have 4 pounds of shit attached to the front of your gun i have the full e length jg g36 and its as light as a feather
lightweight: Any molle belt and harness any small gun (Galaxy MP5K is the resident favorite) Any subdued camo running shoes, not boots stealth: any LBE that doesn't cover your chest (this lets you prone a lot easier) stuff to break up your outline that actually fits in with your environment (I use a cape, some people use ghille suits but whatever you do, just hand make whatever you use.) good pair of non-black boots some kind of rifle wrap (i made my own) if you're using optics you should really invest in a killflash one can of krylon green and one can of krylon tan spraypaint camo BDU of your choice use electrical tape on anything that could potentially make noise (for example, unused sling mounts can "rattle") It's very hard to be camouflaged and "lightweight" but it can be done if you REALLY strip down to the barebones necessities. Remember: Camouflage is 60% gear, 40% movement control. Even if you had the most optimal camo for your area, if you're running around you're going to stick out. Invest in a army field manual about this stuff, they're surprisingly useful.
