I really like this guy's channel. He does a good job of slightly changing up the style between videos so they don't feel overly formulaic.

Blops Nazi zombies split screen fucking topples playing it online. Same goes for general multiplayer. It's insanely fun to watch everyone fuck up around you and share some good memories.
I feel this so hard. I'm not much of a competitive gamer so I hardly play online games unless it's with buddies. I'd much rather play split screen on the couch because gaming for me is about socializing with my friends in person.

I used to play Halo 3/Reach online with splitscreen all the time and I'll certainly miss those days. But thankfully the indie scene exists for a reason, and I take full advantage of pretty much every couch game that's released on steam.
If you have folks near you I strongly recommend playing Towerfall, Gang beasts, Overcooked, Ultimate chicken horse, Stick fight and a few others I can't remember. It's some of the best fun I've had in years.
It seems Nintendo games, like Mario cart and Smash Brothers, are the last bastion of true couch multiplayer.
