For those that don't know, electrical arcs create nitrogen oxides and ozone as a byproduct of the chemical reaction that takes place when ionizing the air to create plasma, hence the joke title.
Reminds me of the time back in grade school when we went as a class to a museum of technology, they had this huge cage there and scary-looking tesla coils and shit around it. The guide talked a bit about it, and then asked "so who wants to get in?" and everyone thought it was a joke so noone really volunteered, but then he actually handpicked me and had me step inside. He closes the door and he pulls this giant fucking circuit breaker and there's this ungodly noise all around. I look to the side and there's fucking lightning hitting the cage from everywhere. He turns it off and the whole room is full of smoke and ozone smell. It was fucking awesome in retrospect but I was too scared to really appreciate it in the moment. Actually found it, there's plexiglass around it now lmao [t]https://zssvinia.edupage.org/files/DSCN3337.JPG[/t]
The thread title made me expect a flex tape joke for some reason
I did some experiments with vacuum tube flybacks few years back, and i loved that smell of ozone, used to sniff that shit... It's probably very bad for me.
The ozone layer is fake news
