People like this really deserve more recognition .
When he walked into the liquor store I expected something completely different.
The entire liquor store setup thing just seemed like the whole thing was faked. Not that I want it to be faked, but because that's what I feel is more likely.
Considering this is AT LEAST the second time someone has done the whole "give a homeless person money" thing on youtube and gotten 10 million+ views from it, it would make sense why someone would be driven to fake some of the story.
It's also quite lucrative. Rough estimates based on online sources say that this guy made somewhere close to but less than $50,000 from this video.
It feels like I've been clickbaited in video form. "They Saw A Homeless Man Spend Their $100 On Liquor, Or Did They??"
It would have been so much more credible in my mind if they just didn't put the liquor store thing at all. Maybe it would have just been better to avoid the clickbait and go straight to the part where he helps others.
Or maybe I'm just a big skeptic.

I'm way too cynical towards these videos now, to the point I think it's fake, until proven otherwise.
This video in particular, screams "staged" to me.

Also, a huge problem with these videos is that there is NO way to call it out and look like a good person.
It's literally infallible. Every argument you make against becomes construed into an argument against homeless people.
The video, like the other one, has a link where you can support the guy. Yeah, that's great, people should do more for the homeless, I totally agree.
But why help just HIM? Why not donate your money to organizations which have helped thousands get off the streets?
If it were staged, the extra cash would go straight to the people who produced the video. It would be so easy.

I really wanna believe this is genuine. Even though what you say is most likely true.

10m views is a good chunk of ad money as well.

$50.000 for 10 million views? Are you sure that's right, because that seems like way too much for me.
EDIT: Should've read the thread, yeah if this ends up being fake and that 50k goes into the guy's pocket that'd be really fucked up.

Vitaly tried the same thing, racked up lots of views pretty quickly.

[editline]24th December 2014[/editline]
Except Vitaly sounds rather patronizing towards him. "Ohh are you hungry...? Do you need a job?"
He's not a thing, he's a person.
Seems incredibly lucky that the one guy he gave money to and followed throughout the day with a camera would turn out to be a kind soul open to being filmed by random people

to add to this: why does everyone homeless man have to be an alcoholic? What if he just ran into a strip club? Why is the taboo alcohol every single time
Honestly had a little chuckle when the first place he went was the liquor store
to add to this: why does everyone homeless man have to be an alcoholic? What if he just ran into a strip club? Why is the taboo alcohol every single time
Well a strip club addiction is not as common as alcoholism, and far less destructive. People assume it was something the homeless person did that caused them to be homeless and some sort of substance abuse problem is the easiest reason to come up with.
guy does videos with this guy, so its probs 100% fake.

Does anyone even think this is real? Even the dumbest person on all of YouTube could see through this holy shit. It's so fake it legit makes me mad.

Really gotta wonder how he convinces so many attractive women to make out with him on camera. Does he pay them? It's not like he's THAT good looking.

Uh does this vid exist for any other reason than to satisfy their fetish for sloppy sounds from kissing?
This reminds me of this video:

Obviously a satirical site (with heavily liberal undertones) and subsidiary of the Onion but I thought this was funny
