That looks / plays horrible.
It's okay. It's a bit dodgy though, but alas it is a beta. Although the FULL release of the game is in two weeks, which doesn't really justify what is at the minute a shoddy game that needs cleaned up.
so realistic.
Not enough red jelly.
Can someone give me the best reason to buy this and not just keep playing counter strike or modern warfare or black ops or even ace-spades..?

Because it's fun... what reasons are you expecting?

:downs:
Also this game looks great, I love games like this.
How many people can be in a server at once?

64 at once, per usual. There were talks about 128 but apparently server hardware can't handle it, but you may be able to mod it as people did in KF.

I've been told by TWB, the guys who own the 50-player EU and US servers in Osfront, that they were going to mod and set up a 128 player server.

None of those games are set in WWII, nor have 64 player battles
None of those games are set in WWII, nor have 64 player battles
And they're all arcade shooters.
And it's not 60 fucking dollars.

128 player servers? Now I'll surely buy this game

I played in a Killing Floor server once with like 40 people. I think on the first wave there were over like 3,000 specimens. The horror.

Yeah, it starts to get pretty fucking silly at that number.
what am i missing, because this honestly looks like its just trying to win over most of the BF3/CoD audience.
I'm not saying its looks bad, i just don't understand why i should buy this over something like Battlefield 3?

How the fuck could it be trying to be like CoD or BF if the gameplay isn't even remotely similar?

Red Orchestra is to Counter Strike/Modern Warfare/Black Ops as much as Black is to white, Einstein is to Retard, Kenny is to Spenny, Sex is to Mastur.. well... maybe not that different
Red Orchestra is a Mix of Arma Simulation and the Original mod of Day of Defeat gameplay (Not the source shit)
Call of Duty is... Well... W + M1
why i should buy this over something like Battlefield 3?
Because EA is a money hungry, shitsucking company that clamps restrictive due dates for a lot of games, including SPORE and many of the Sims games, and is jumping on the Call of Duty craze to have Battlefield be their new cash-cow.
Tripwire interactive, however, actually gives a damn about who's buying the game.
I added a new gun. More coming.

Added ANOTHER gun.
Wait, why russians talk in english with each other? That makes no sense, it was fine in RO1 though.

Yeah, kind of dumb. Would be cool if they had English and local recordings of voices, so you could have it all English, or in foreign languages. I think they did it in Bad Company 2?
Are the rifles inaccurate as hell when shot from the hip?

They fire where you point them.
Finally. Games do it right.
One more thing, Scope glare/glint, does it exist?

I'm afraid not. As far as I have seen.

No, they go where you fire them, it is hardly ever in the middle of the screen from hip, so it's a cool experience.
