I wonder if they'll add the threat of outside attacks from humans.
It says Xbox Exclusive but hopefully that only means timed. I hope it has coop too. Edit: Universal Windows App, meaning it's "Windows 10 and Xbox exclusive". Fuuuuuckk
Yep. Windows 10 exclusive. The bastards finally got me. I suppose all I needed was a reason to switch over anyway.
Yep. Windows 10 exclusive. The bastards finally got me. I suppose all I needed was a reason to switch over anyway.
I know the feel. State of Decay: Breakdown is my favourite zombie game of all time and if SOD2 has a sandbox mode like that I might have to consider upgrading.
Right here goes. I loved state of decay, while it was a little rough around the edges it was still a fantastic little indy game, i always wanted to build and run a community in a zombie infested world and SoD was damn near perfect ... But then they bought out the remastered edition, broke the first original copy possibly deliberately and now i cannot play SoD1, nor can anyone else so it seems. Undead lab's answer is to buy the 'remasterd' edition. Total shit. Next thing, Multiplayer State of Decay's charm and merit was that it was a single player Zombie survivial game, There was a story, an end goal, quests and missions, communtiy upkeep ect ect and the best part of all was that no arsehole's got to come and ruin it for me. Now if it has an untouched singleplayer or it's litterally just Co-Op only, fine i can live with that, in fact i'd like to have played State of decay with a friend or 2, but if it's PvP I'll be extremely Disapointed. I got State of Decay to get Away from DayZ and the people who inhabit those games, they still have DayZ let them fucking stay there don't bring them over to SoD.
How did they break the first one, out of interest?
How did they break the first one out of interest? I
Honestly not sure, it came as news to me 2 weeks back when i reinstalled it and it refused to run at all. When i check the steam page it seems everyone else has the same issue.
I know the feel. Being a soldier trying to hold the line and maintain a safe haven against an escalating horde was fun.
I hope we can customize character now or at the very least have the ability to make characters/player character.
I hope they add the ability to 'clear' the entire town. Like, that was the one thing I wanted. Was to be able to go house to house and make 'safe' zones until the area was relatively safe. Doesn't work that way though.
State of decay is godlike
animations look good
animations look good
I quite liked the cartoonish fighting animations of the first game, they had weight to them.
i am so fucking happy for this, state of decay is probably my favourite zombie game next to killing floor and l4d2
I thought the general consensus was that the devs of State of Decay were scumbags for pulling that update expansion bullshit?
Looking forward to it there was something relaxing about searching the empty streets and building a base up.
when i saw it live and saw them bash the zombies with the doors i instantly knew it was state of decay, i really hope this one has coop
SoD was pretty damn good. All it needed was a larger world, co-op and a bit more freedom as to the settlements. Oh and smarter human AI. And maybe the odd encounter with enemy humans (NPCs).
when i saw it live and saw them bash the zombies with the doors i instantly knew it was state of decay, i really hope this one has coop
I thought it was some shitty new zombie game at first until they showed the logo on the car.
State of decay is godlike
it could've been till they got funded by microsoft lol
it could've been till they got funded by microsoft lol
No, because it wouldn't have existed at all if they hadn't gotten funded by Microsoft? And I don't see how Microsoft had anything to do with the game itself? They still made the exact game they were going to.
Here's hoping the safe areas can be actually huge, and not have like a truck compound being the biggest place.
it could've been till they got funded by microsoft lol
didnt microsoft pretty much let undead labs exist i been following them since the games were called class 3 and class 4 so
Right here goes.
Number 2 is just Co op and SP, and the original SoD1 works fine for me? it's the remaster store page everyone seems to be having issues with from what i can see.
I don't know what the problem's are in SoD1 but all i know is it won't run for me since i reinstalled it and iv'e tried everything im willing to bother with, none of my friends can play it and loads of other people cannot get it working either and the unofficial response is to get the remaster as they no longer support the original. Some people can still play it, but I don't know how or why though, as for the remaster afaik that has it's own store page and reviews seperate from the original (year one survival edition).
That's a really cool logo
I love SoD. A well made little Indie game with a ton of potential. The only major thing I was disappointed with was the lack of coop. If they add that, and only that for MP, as well as enhancing the foundation they established in the past games then I think it'll be the zombie survival game we've been waiting for. I'm excited and I have high hopes for this!
