So I just had a lovely discussion with a relative that is older and says that anyone that does their taxes with turbo tax free online is being scammed. Apparently those sites don't show deductions people should get. What do you guys think? Tax returns will be coming soon and maybe I have been getting duped. The only thing I have to file is two w2s for my two jobs and student loan interest paid. I was going to buy turbo tax for personal use this month but it's just answering questions. I have no kids it's just me and my student loan debt lol.
I've always done my taxes online. The site I use never charges me and I get all my taxes back (incomr, that is. Obviously not ss)
Maybe he's old and doesn't want to learn new things
i did my taxes last year online with turbotax for free and it was simple as hell. got my state return and federal return in like 3 weeks though
I don't know why it wouldn't show that sort of thing. I can't imagine they'd profit in anyway from it.
Always done my tax returns online.
