I think of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon as a movie that really didn't need a sequel.
But it has Donnie Yen and it's on Netflix anyway so eh. Might give it a shot.

you do realise that the movie was based on a series of books, yes

Didn't know that, but it doesn't change my opinion. It ended so concretely I didn't need to see another.
Kind of like how I never got around to playing season 2 of The Walking Dead since to me, the first season ended cleanly.
lol that bad moon rising cover doesn't work at all
Is it directed by Aang Lee?
Crouching Tiger is a fucking work of art. This looks like dog shit from the trailer.
Why did they need to make a sequel?
netflix has been putting out some great content but this honestly looks like shit, the awful music certainly doesn't help
This music is about as misplaced as the music in the great gatsby remake.
I just played Once Upon a Time in China music in the background and it made the trailer 100% more watchable
The fact that it isn't in Chinese does the original movie serious disgrace.

there's also a fourth one made in china.
saw "sword of destiny" and wished netflix would make a quality series on the witcher books
Some of the CGI looks bad like that tower, that bugs the shit out of me in movies these days.
Bad CGI
Bad music choice
Not in the style of the original which did not need a sequel.. gonna pass. :speechless:
I really don't like how everyone now suddenly speaks english. Extremely weird. I really hope that is just a voice over.
Dat CGI though.
Don't forget: Every Chinese swordsman ever born is capable of flight and levitation.
