• Special Warfare group, CQB training - head cam

As promised, another military head cam video. This one features the 2nd battalion 1st special warfare training group, training a mock exercise replicating an operation that was conducted in south panama. Being that is an exercise/mock operation, you'll notice that unlike the previous video (featuring what I think was a reserve green beret unit) these guys are going at full speed. Badass
Was unloading half a mag into each target for each operator really necessary?
Was unloading half a mag into each target for each operator really necessary?
They have each operator play an intensive 24 hour session of silent hill 3 before training exercises to give them an intense fear of mannequins.
Was unloading half a mag into each target for each operator really necessary?
I'd rather want my target to be dead and stay dead than maybe pop a round into me.
I'd rather want my target to be dead and stay dead than maybe pop a round into me.
I don't think you need to fire 30 shots in a single person to kill him.
They want their targets to die immediately, even if you get shot a couple of times, it won't kill you immediately unless its a headshot.

Durrhurr enter killzone without buttonhooking or weapon at ready, that's real safe. Who are these guys, anyway? There's no "special warfare group" in the US military that I know of.
lol 1:30 captain failure can't open a door

Nobody knows what to rate the OP :v:
Nobody knows what to rate the OP :v:
i think ill just rate him x to be a dick
Would be better without all the cam switching.
1st Special Warfare Training Group is a real group. Seriously though, the U.S. Military claims they teach that "one aimed shot is better then ten potshots" yet this seems to contradict that. I think they were just trying to look badass for the camera.

After all, nothing you do in a combat role is going to be "safe". They train over and over and over again so in situations like these as you can see, they can trust the other man not to shoot eachother when in very close quarters. Here's the kicker: Usually in many of these outfits, you'll eventually play the role of a hostage, and a team in training will enter with live rounds and shoot targets that are probably sitting right next to you :v: [editline]01:58AM[/editline]
1st Special Warfare Training Group is a real group. There's always some new method or some new theory someone subscribes to. This was filmed back in early 2000s I think. Also, you can't see it from the position of the camera, but those are aimed shots, they're not just pointing and shooting (which has been taught in the past).
I don't think you need to fire 30 shots in a single person to kill him.
Never went against a zombie then i take it? Sometimes they just will not go down. But a seasoned zombie survival veteran would know that destroying the brain is the only way to take one down. Unless it is a BOW then you got some fucking problems.

(They were also in a plywood building so no fear of shrapnel) [editline]10:33PM[/editline]
Here's the kicker: Usually in many of these outfits, you'll eventually play the role of a hostage, and a team in training will enter with live rounds and shoot targets that are probably sitting right next to you :v:
FUCK.

Everybody's seen that video, but it's NOT Delta for most of the video, almost everyone in a uniform in this video is part of an SF A-Team. Watch the room clearing portions at 1:56, 2:13, and so on. Notice how the guys in OP's video don't move NEARLY as quickly or fluidly, which makes me strongly believe the guys in OP's vid are trainees or at the most greenhorn graduates. What I'm trying to say is, you can't really use what the soldiers in OP's video do as a benchmark for how our military is trained in modern times.
