When will they fix the NVidia drivers already? I really miss this game, but cant play without rolling back my drivers everytime I want to
It's been a while since we've seen an update, so I'm hyped!
more hyped for this than anything else coming out
So what's so fun about this game?
So what's so fun about this game?
why would you not want to explore an entire universe?
So what's so fun about this game?
Exploring a mindbogglingly large Universe, full of all manners of beautiful, strange and peculiar planets, stars, black holes and other phenomena.
And oddly terrifying for some reason. Why the hell does space scare me?

Try finding the edge of the universe

Also diving into black holes is scary shit

Man fuck that shit. Now back to blowing shit up in call of duty: Modern warfare 75, where's my dew?
God damn that song fits so well to the trailer.

According to the forums, the latest drivers work fine with SE

The latest AMD drivers still break the program though.
Fuck yeah, so glad this isn't dead.
This is the best space sim in existence.
Holy shit I never knew this was free, gonna go download it now.

Probably because it makes you feel so infinitely small, compared to the grand size of the universe. For some people this thought strips away any feelings of worth or value, because the mind boggling size of the universe, ever growing, makes them feel as though they don't matter in the long run, it makes them feel insignificant and very, very small.
Don't let those thoughts get to you, though. Much of the universe is empty, cold, and dark. Where you are right now is what matters, and you are significant.
After watching Interstellar, I am arounsingly terrified by the idea of exploring endless space.
I can't seem to get pictures as pretty as everybody else's

Realizing that you're an extremely tiny part of an incomprehensibly large universe, while at the same time being stuck to this small piece of rock, I suppose
[editline]24th November 2014[/editline]
I'm not calling the Earth a worthless piece of rock, of course, a small diamond being surrounded by tons and tons of garbage doesn't exactly make it less valuable, rather the opposite
Seeing as Earth is the only feasible place for us to live, at least until technology develops to the point of allowing us to either colonize and terraform another planet to live on, it's the most valuable thing to humanity. Nothing else pales in comparison to the value of Earth.
This version also brings Oculus Rift support, should be pretty rad.

I don't have any problem since 344.75.

i would so play this with oculus rift on acid. oh goodness
This game pretty much randomly works on every other computer with no apparent pattern.
It doesn't work on my desktop, but it works on my friends desktop with similar specs. (Both with Nvidia GPUs and intel CPUs)

Even the biggest red hypergiant star can't make the conscious decision to order pizza.

Space is so fascinating and scary at the same time. I legit covered my face when warping to a black hole because I wasn't sure how close I'd get or what it would look like.
I really wish this was more popular, it's something everybody should get to see.

Last time I checked all this game really had going for it though was the exploration bit and... I dunno, it wears thin really quickly to me. After I've seen a few planets I've lost interest.
I'd love to see this integrated with say Elite: Dangerous though.

It's because it's a simulation not a game. If you don't have an interest in space of course you aren't gonna like it.
This game is my favorite screensaver.
Also, if anyone hasn't tried this, you really must.
After my gaming PC died I haven't been able to reliably play this. Such disappoint
