you will spend more in flammable gas tanks than what you make in return with the diamond. also not all diamonds are valuable, diamonds used in diamond tipped cutting tools are worth like a quarter per gram or something like that.

I should look into white papers on what the fringe is on diamond microchips.

Incredibly useful, but not what you'd get out of the ground.
