Police are treating the death of a 23-year-old man in south-east London as "unexplained" after he is said to have taken part in an online punching game.
Tommy Main was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
Detectives arrived at a party in Erith after being alerted by an ambulance crew in the early hours of Sunday morning.
"I am especially interested in any images or footage from the night of his death," said DI Michael Norman.
"Tommy's death is being treated as unexplained but I would urge any of his friends who were at the party on the night of his death to make contact."
The post-mortem, carried out at Princess Royal Hospital in Bromley, was inconclusive and toxicology tests have been ordered.
The internet game Mr Main is thought to have been playing is called Punch4Punch.
It involves two people taking it in turns to hit each other, until one gives up. Sometimes alcohol is drunk as a penalty. The fight is often videoed and then posted online.
When they said internet game I figured they meant played via the web. Which had me confused cause I've always known and seen the game played in person. Or is that just me reading the article wrong/me being an idiot?
Wonder why he was inspired to keep going until he died, even though apparently in the article you can easily just give up long before anything as severe as death occurs.

It's just worded strange. It's played in real life, video'd, then uploaded to [del]Punch4Punch[/del] the internet under the fad "Punch4Punch" if I'm reading it correctly.

Garry would become upset if people started claiming that his site was the place it got invented, though.

Human evolution at work, I see.
The way this is written makes me think that they just wanted to take swing at internet culture. I'm positive shit like this happens regardless of internet influence. I have some friends that do dumb shit like this when drunk for laughs.
