I'm half surprised no "check your privilege" people were put in.
I'm half surprised no "check your privilege" people were put in.
Yeah really. You could make atleast five whole videos off of those people.
I unfollowed most of these people, now i just get stupid YouTube video snapshots from 6th grade students explaining their hardships about love
I kinda like the "I can't. I can't. I have lost my ability to can."
This reminded me of how much I dislike it when people use feel as a noun, "Right in the feels" etc.
accurate.
I'm surprised there's no Homestuck.
This reminded me of how much I dislike it when people use feel as a noun, "Right in the feels" etc.
"that hurt my feelings" uses it the same way it's just a really slangy way of saying it
"that hurt my feelings" uses it the same way it's just a really slangy way of saying it
Fair enough, I just couldn't find a good way of wording it.
I'm surprised there's no Homestuck.
The animator talked about this in the comments, he says he was too scared to insult Homestuck as it has one of the most obsessed fanbases on the internet.
The animator talked about this in the comments, he says he was too scared to insult Homestuck as it has one of the most obsessed fanbases on the internet.
I would've done it, even though it would spark a huge shitstorm i reckon it'd be really funny
I think "meme-y" is a bit more accurate.
yeah it's memetic, but if we really want to get into it it's almost a colloqual phrase (if you consider tumblr as having its own unique dialect)
I go on Tumblr quite a bit and the only one that I can really identify with the "Did you see that Doctor Who episode last night?" thing. I guess I must be lucky. I've run into a few of the emo ones, but they're usually pretty few and far between. It's all a matter of who you follow.
it seems like tumblr is roughly 60% this, 20% fangirls, and 20% clever and funny
Sure is great with the way Tumblr works you can completely sidestep all the stupid shit.
This isn't tumblr. If it was this video would've been 2 frame Doctor Who gifs while fangirls go "MUH FEELS" somehow on /r9k/ it's acceptable but on tumblr it feels wrong
My favorite is the girls who were really popular in high school and are now trying to be hipster who post nothing but fashion, black and white pictures of people having sex, girls wearing native american headdresses, and really awful platitudes.
One day I'll be the king of tumblr I'll just post about how angsty and emotionally damaged I am, along with Supernatural, Sherlock, and Doctor Who quotes. I'll be swimming in hipster poon

That fucking toucan always gets me.

Tumblr is a brilliant site making such great content as- Oh...
