Donald Trump Jr. and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort are set to testify next week before a Senate panel. The Senate Judiciary Committee announced that the two would appear before the panel on July 26 in a public hearing. ... According to reports, Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law and adviser, will also testify next week before the Senate Intelligence Committee in a closed session.
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2017/07/19/donald-trump-jr-paul-manafort-testify-before-senate-judiciary-committee/494007001/
nvm didn't read. anyways I bet its gonna be the same shitshow, republicans asking rhetorical softball questions, get them to shift to clinton or the democratic party, while the democrats will ask questions and get waffles
Lets see how they compare to Comey and Session on giving no answers.
Anyone remember how many times Comey was direct and even refereed/clarified that he could answer in a closed setting. Compared to Session's 'I don't remember', 'I don't recall', 'I can't answer on the basis of the presidents ability or right to...', and 'I would be able to answer after consulting with DOJ officials'. Mind you all the the words between apostrophes are listed above are Verbatim quotes of Sessions testimony.
Taking bets on what reason theyll give for refusing to comment on private conversations My money is on "shit dude... maybe, I gotta be honest I was baked the whole campaign lmao"
They're probably going to lie their asses off. They aren't the type to just tell the truth and incriminate themselves.
They're probably going to lie their asses off. If anything, lying only serves to make that more likely, since even the best liars can't imagine/cover all their bases. Even if the allegations are not true, proven perjury alone is damning.

You can be sure that they'd go about it more like Sessions than Comey though, that's for sure.

Republican members of the Senate Intel Committee will toss out meaningless softball questions, non-sequiturs, and obvious lead-ins to Clinton!!! talks. Liberal members will try to get to the bottom of things, but with no real cooperation from the other side of the aisle. This committee has no teeth because half the members are working to obscure the truth, not uncover it.
