i can't explain it in words but something about this game seems so ehhh
you know I thought that before I saw this trailer and now it's all gone
you know I thought that before I saw this trailer and now it's all gone
At this point, aside from the less gritty ork voices, the only thing that bothers me is the warboss. He's got a fucking excavator attached to him.
the lack of chaos disturbs me
I smell Necrons.
looks a lot better now that they have proper textures and shaders
Holy shit those graphics are great

Does this have base building? I mean is this is more Dawn of War 2 wank? Or is it the proper 40k experience that they've been sitting on for years for some fucking reason.
Does this have base building? I mean is this is more Dawn of War 2 wank? Or is it the proper 40k experience that they've been sitting on for years for some fucking reason.
it has dow 1 basebuilding without power generators
What's replacing it? Is it more focused on capturing flags as a sole resource so you can churn out units constantly?
What's replacing it? Is it more focused on capturing flags as a sole resource and churning out units constantly than holding strategic points of the map?
its kinda like dow 2, where you capture the points and can add on little structures to them for extra resources, except now you have to choose between power or requisition (or elite points, apparently, for summoning elite units) addons
I'm going to stay cautiously optimistic for this one then, i haven't played an RTS without some shitty gimmick in years.
The visual style really came together in this trailer. If this is what the game looks like, I'll be picking this up at some point.
Do the Spes Mehrins still have weird baby legs? I can't tell from this video
At this point, aside from the less gritty ork voices, the only thing that bothers me is the warboss. He's got a fucking excavator attached to him.
Imo the excavator arm is the best thing ever.
Do the Spes Mehrins still have weird baby legs? I can't tell from this video
you mean thin? its not in the actual game, but in the cutscenes
look at the pic above and check out how long their necks are overall it looks alright so far, at least the scale is big again. i just want to be sure that sync kills are included
the scene with the orks splashing through the swamp is just beautiful
Fuck yeah, Imperial Guards
Orks all the way baby.
I hope Chaos makes a comeback.
I had almost no hype for this, but this trailer made it look fucking sick.
Did they fix the shitty graphics we saw in the previous screenshots? I can't tell if it's just filtering or not.
Given past Dawn of Wars its a guarantee we'll get the other major races post release. It does suck that Chaos won't be in at launch though
i just realized that the Wraithknight moves exactly as i imagined Eldar titans would move, ie. an anime mech, and i love it
Fuck yeah, Imperial Guards
i hope the IG animations at 1:06 are placeholders because they look jank as fuck or maybe they'll redo them when the IG expansion comes out like in DoW2
I'm guessing that the eldar and imperium both want the spear so nobody activates it but they won't work together because they're both retards and the orkz just want to loot it and they'll probably activate it and destroy everything because they're orkz
Looks a hell of a lot better then it did a few months back. Can't wait!
