Feels like you're colorblind when playing Strike at Karkand doesn't it?
it's too bad battlefield 3 is an abomination that is impossible to play now.
I'm most excited for Wake Island. Wasn't very satisfied with the default maps in BF3, maybe these will make the game better for me.
Jag trodde bara att du fanns på Sweclockers zhrooms.

Change for the best, in BF2 strike at karkand looks like someone diarrhea'd all over the map
I'm so damn excited to play this.
BF3 maps have too much bloom and desaturation IMO. I know that's supposed to be its "style" but I just think it looks unrealistic.
I don't like the way wake island looks, it's still fun though.
BF2 was pretty much a masterpiece.

Except the more or less awful infantry combat.

Just because it's not piss easy, doesn't mean it's bad.

No, it was just bad. Hit detection was god-awful, you could have 2 guys standing completely still, firing directly at each other and only like 50% of the shots would hit and the fact that all weapons did barely any damage just made that worse.

Also don't get me wrong, BF2 is fucking awesome, but the close quarters infantry combat would get really frustrating very often in it.

Are you kidding me?
Why do you think there were so little snipers? Because the hit detection was shit, I could hit a stationary target about 30% of the time (accounting for bullet drop, of course).
That and the fact that the aircraft were overpowered, with the helicopters having more range THAN THE MOBILE AA SUPPOSED TO HANDLE IT, and one single anti air turret in every point (some points even without AA) that could be destroyed with a few shots and that fired a rocket so pathetic it barely dented the armor on the transport helis.
I've seen skilled bf2 players, they don't miss and it takes practice.
Hit detection or not, it's a fair challenge unlike many fps games these days where it's literally a quick shot kill then respawn.
I really don't like how cold everything looks in BF3.
I really don't like how cold everything looks in BF3.
something about the whole 'cold' color tone seems more 'comfortable' to me in a way
I don't care just finish the god damn maintenance already and let me play. :suicide:
Gahhh Wake Island, can't wait for it.
Bf2 looks brown, bf3 looks blue.
Bf2 looks brown, bf3 looks blue.
Thats the first thing i noticed too.
I actually prefer the BF2 rendition.
Wake looks so busy in BF3, it'll be a headache trying to distinguish baddies from blocks of scenery
I like how in BF3 you can actually see more than 100 feet ahead. I loved Karkand but that fog is intense.
BattleField 3: Now with more buildings.
BattleField 3: Now with more buildings.
Thing I love about these maps is that a lot of buildings can be entered now.
Sharqi Peninsula looked like the most accurate and least changed.

War is cold, son.
BF3 looks like all the life was sucked out of it.
I'm sorry but BF2 was all, brown...
So far it's fun. Still waiting to see if they'll add in the Chinese maps, like Dragon Valley and Dalian Plant. Also, Warlord from SF would be cool.
Well I preferred brown and green over the ice-blue paper that we call "BF3".

I wonder if they'll ever add that one airport map from B2:MC.
