I work for a remote underground mine ~1000km from the nearest city, or any real civilization. It's actually super similar to this. Only difference is that the ground doesn't move beneath you, and the rooms are a little bigger. But it's the same schedules as these workers experience, and it's only accessible by airplane (private airport).
This is almost like The Thing, but in water.

I've loved oil rigs ever since I was little, it's definitely an ambition of mine to someday work as a chef on one no matter the risks involved.
