Just released
This series got better as it progressed. Less teen drama, more killing aliens.
I really want a Halo movie
The barrel of the chaingun on the Warthog didn't spin when they were shooting with it
Immersion destroyed
Best not click this unless you've read Grasslands and Thursday War
[sp]Unfortunately, I knew Laskey would survive at the start, I just finished reading Halo: Grasslands and Thursday War. I won't say much more than that. I chuckled at the "It's classified" bit, the plot of Grasslands going into the unethicalness of the Spartan Program quite a bit, nice to see they've finally managed to get all the stories to tie together for once[/sp]

I'd like to see nearly everything (especially the books) in the Halo series turned into films
Hunter why you take pot shots at running guy at 75~~ yards, when there are 4 people litterally 5 feet from you.

That really didn't need spoilering. Everything covered in the Kilo-Five trilogy about the spartan program has already been covered in Fall of Reach.
Ever since FUD got announced weve known that Lasky will be in Halo 4, and anyone who hasn't been following Halo 4, but has been watching this series would know he survives as hes in episode 1 on the Infinity listening to Cortanas distress beacon, which starts off the series.
But it is nice to see the canon get tied together finally.

I think everyone who did a bit of research knew that. He's in Halo 4 after all, and as a pretty major character. That and I thought it was fairly obvious when you saw the guy in Episode one after the SOS.
wow kelly looks... uncanny.

That's what you get when people from around 10 get stuffed full of hormones and other augmentations to grow faster. I thought it was a nice touch.

Don't forget; never see sunlight
Wait a sec the girl got hit with a needle right? Why didnt it explode? I thought the effectivness of needlers was that after they impale the victim they explode causing more damage.

Just going by game knowledge here but don't you need a certain number of needles? It's called a supercombine

It looked like it did. Her wound was pretty open, not much, but the needeler doesn't seem to shatter that much, just enough to open you a little.
In Halo 1 the individual needles made a small damaging explosion as well, while shooting 7 into someone would make a supercombine. I believe it was changed in the newer games to do damage on contact instead of the needles exploding individually after a short while.

I'm sure it has the same effect as a trench-knife.
It leaves you to bleed to death, even if you only get stabbed once.
Or it was faulty, weapons sometimes don't explode you know
It's been a while since I read the books, but I thought needler needles busted into nearly microscopic shards when they hit something. She could have had a large portion of the needle intact, but she probably also had thousands of tiny shards inside/around the wound.
Could have been a large fragment of a missed round (which had already detonated).

could've detonated on impact with the armor, and thats just one of the larger fragments impaled in her.
Can anyone explain to me why they need to go into Cryo when jumping?
Can anyone explain to me why they need to go into Cryo when jumping?
Because they can be in Slipspace for quite a long time before they reach their destination.
I can't tell you how pumped the ending made me for Halo 4

How fast are human slipstream drives?
How fast are human slipstream drives?
Fast, but space is still very big. It can take anywhere from days to months to travel across human-occupied space. The infinity also has forerunner slipspace drives, so they're even faster and more precise now.
[sp]that girl dying was the most predictable thing ever[/sp]
gotta give them props for making the Covenant feel like a threatening, previously unknown aliens force instead of plastic saturday morning cartoon villains, especially that Hunter was fucking awesome and obviously so were the elites in the earlier episodes

It's funny, that was unexpected for me since [sp]I heard someone say she'd come back in Halo 4 as a Spartan, but they were wrong, obviously. Did give me a nice surprise though, instead of the moment being ruined by being spoiled with the right information.[/sp]
Hate how I can't call this "Waiting for Master Chief" anymore.
I almost cried. I am suddenly so psyched for Halo 4.
Man that was insane, can't wait to get my hands on the new game.
