You know some songs are just meant to be listened to for ya know. Fun. Not to be lyrically analyzed and judged on the same level as like songs that aren't for your average afternoon radio listen.

Find anything that mainstream media has its foot in. 2. Make a video about how it or anything it entails is actually meaningless and for simpletons. 3. Acquire internet views and repeat. Every Buckley video is basically looking at things that normal people like and calling it shitty and useless because it doesn't have any deep meaning. Not everything in the world needs to be as deep as the ocean in meaning. Sometimes it's fun just to have mindless fun.
Every song that gets played on the radio gets taken off my .flac playlist I listen to with my beyerdynamic 2013 ultra pro 2 ohm headset. I know sound. Personally i prefer songs without lyrics. Ambient songs. They're really euphoric. I can agree with bucklet. These songs are for mainstream trash sheeple, wake up and listen to some real music.
22 is a good song tho
To be fair, every song on this list is terrible, even if he is over analyzing
To be fair, every song on this list is terrible, even if he is over analyzing
Can't really agree with you. A lot of these songs can be a good dumb time to just listen to and sing with some pals during like a car ride or something. Yeah they've got dumb lyrics but half the fucking fun is knowing how dumb the song is and just enjoy it for what it is.
To be fair, every song on this list is terrible, even if he is over analyzing
There are worse songs. But he picks popular mainstream songs to prove some "greater" point or something that he is somewhat on the "other side of the line".
Can't really agree with you.
To be fair, every song on this list is terrible, even if he is over analyzing
The song is terrible if you over-analyze it. The reason those songs are so popular is because you can put them on in a club or a rocket ship it doesn't matter because 99.9% of people aren't going to suddenly get up and leave or complain because they don't like some generic pop song. It's just some nice tune that everyone can understand without needing a dictionary or a music theorist.

what's wrong with breezeblocks?
i think hes too harsh on drake's song the lyrics suck dicks ok but the song itself is far from one of the worst songs of the year and why on earth would you include freaking BUBBLEBUTT on the list, that song was meant to be stupid seeing how god damn eric wareheim made the music video
Personally I enjoyed most of these songs, I'm not gonna go out of my way to over-analyze every single verse and lyric dropped. Shit is fun to listen to, who the hell cares.
what's wrong with breezeblocks?
Nothing honestly, I love that song.
I thought this was just going to be some regularly scheduled programming of anti-pop garble, but it's actual legitimate lyrical analysis. Huh. Also, some of those songs just sucked to listen to as well, how the hell did they even get popular? Sometimes I like listening to pop, but jeez, that last Miley song was just boring. [editline]15th December 2013[/editline] JESUS CHRIST THE TRINIDAD JAMES VEVO VIDEO HE HAS A GOLD FUCKING SHOPPING CART I CAN'T BREATHE
i like all these songs. am i bad person?
OH JESUS HE'S HOLDING A PUPPY HOSTAGE NOW
~~~I WOKE UP IN A NEW BUGATTI~ ~~I WOKE UP IN A NEW BUGATTIIIIII~~
thank god most of the songs didn't made it to the local radio stations also The Fox deserves to be in the list (yea i know he explained why it's not)
Buckley sucks.
But Maddox does the exact same thing and you guys lick his arse daily
Maddox is barely semiserious
But Maddox does the exact same thing and you guys lick his arse daily
Maddox is only serious about 25% of the time. Maddox is funny. Maddox picks subjects which require research and prep, and aren't lowest hanging fruit on the tree.
i interpreted the cher lloyd song as being a criticism of people who think like that also wtf bubble butt is satire right?
Breezeblocks was released in 2012 what is he on about [editline]15th December 2013[/editline] And I love it was released in 2012 what the fuck [editline]15th December 2013[/editline] Does the US get international songs 6/12 months later
You know some songs are just meant to be listened to for ya know. Fun. Not to be lyrically analyzed and judged on the same level as like songs that aren't for your average afternoon radio listen.
I really don't know why people judge a song based on what the lyrics say anyway and then compare it to other songs' lyrics why the fuck do lyrics need meaning anyway maybe i just want to hear someone say bubble butt for 3 minutes
maybe i just want to hear someone say bubble butt for 3 minutes
Do you really?
Breezeblocks was released in 2012 what is he on about [editline]15th December 2013[/editline] And I love it was released in 2012 what the fuck [editline]15th December 2013[/editline] Does the US get international songs 6/12 months later
I think he's talking songs released in 2012 that climbed to the billboard charts in 2013 or something like that
They don't belong in a video like this, Alt-J's music style doesn't even identify with Buckly's "old taste" because Alt J is Indie Rock
