Friday the 13th is coming up next January, and following tattoo-enthusiast tradition i plan on getting a "13" tattoo for £13.
On Friday 13th :V
HOWEVER i don't want a standard 13 or Xiii, i'd like something different and witty.
I've already thought of getting it in braille, as in getting the dots tattoo'd, or binary code.
But i'd like some more awesomely different ideas from you fellow facepanchers.
SHOOT!

If you're going for braille, at least make it readable.
Don't get a tattoo. They are useless pain, and don't get you anything.
There's no point in telling me not to get a tattoo,
I like them, i already have one, telling me not to doesn't really affect me in the slightest.

Assuming this is photoshopping?
Or a really skilled tattoo artist..
3d tattoos have been around

It could be a silicone implant but then technically it would not be a tattoo. It could also just be a 3d tattoo.
On topic i would totally suggest a tattoo of the guy that screams chocolate from spongebob, I always thought it would work really well as a tattoo.
It's silicone implants, though I was joking about getting one. There isn't actually any educations out there who specifically offer tattoo artists knowledge of how such an implantation procedure should go down so there are a lot of risks you'll be running by getting that.
I personally would not get a tattoo in the same fashion as you wish. To me, tattoos should be very personal pieces of art that you can always look at and reflect upon. They're gonna stick with you for a while after all.
Are you sure getting a tattoo that represents a national discount day in the tattoo business really is something you can reflect upon? I'm just asking, because if I was you I'd get something way more special than that.

It'll get him a tattoo?

That's a very fair point. I dunno, i'll have to muse over it for a while.

I meant there is no point in having one, it's a waste of time.
write "Thirteen" instead of 13
I don't know. It's only 13quid so I don't think it could be that big huh :v:
Why get a tattoo to be a walking advertisement for a movie
I meant there is no point in having one, it's a waste of time.
The point in having a tattoo varies depending on who's getting it.
It could be a memorial tattoo to remember a family member.
It could be a physical milestone to mark the beginning of a new chapter in a persons life.
Or it could simply be following tattoo culture and getting a 13.
You can't just say "There's no point having one, it's a waste of time" without experiencing it first.
Your statement suggests you don't have any tattoos, am i right?
No piercings either? Since they're pretty much in the same category of body art.
Well when you have something so meaningful to you that you wish to display on your body for the rest of your life, or something silly that you'll look back and remember fondly, then you might understand what the point is.
You argue for meaningful tatts but you want to get a 13 pound tattoo that says 13 for the hell of it?

Yeah man, it's still meaningful because it'll be the only tattoo i get that doesn't really...well...mean anything :v
If that's your logic, at least pick something nice looking that means nothing to you
A ten pound note and 3 pound coins?
Though I agree with Mako that there really is nothing meaningful about getting a 13 tattoo on Friday the 13th.
