It's called Soldat. It's a really fucking awesome 2d shooter with ragdoll physics and gore.
Once you learn the bullet speed, spread, and drop of all the guns, it's pretty easy to get good at. There are special weapons for certain modes like Rambo's bow (which can change between normal and explosive tips), special upgrades that randomly appear like flamethrower, invisibility, increased damage, etc. Chainsaw can be used as a secondary, as well as a throwable knife. I discovered this gem back in 2004 but never really got back into it. Lots of mods for it as well, and you can create servers with custom weapon stats (like more rounds in a clip, faster ROF, etc for any gun to increase realism/fun).

Yep. I also love the multiplayer, much more satisfying than bots.
Man, I miss soldat. I used to run a zombie server from time to time, with zombie bots (fists only), modified weapons and 2 or 3 human players, usually on that long, flat grass map (Longitude? Can't remember its name) and also assault maps like that. Shit got pretty intense sometimes :D
Haha I remember this game, I even used to play a few matches in a clan!
Anyway it was updated which changed some physics or something, or the weapons.
For example the barret-rifle was made slower, but if you hit with it, head will be blown off!
though if i remember right it was also a bit frustrating.. or something I don't know. it was fun though.
