I think it the part where the cops shoot the guy is real, but after the cop yells out the window i think its faked. The girl changes a bit and the amount of blood on the guy is kind of a lot for just a couple seconds after being shot.

It doesn't really matter if the video is staged or not. Police in NYC are known for being quick and brutal. That's why if you watch the show cops you rarely see any footage coming from NYC.

Haha I love those action spins. Especially when the two cops spin to shoot the guy and the cop with the rifle shoots it from his hip while his buddy is right behind him with his pistol 3 feet from his face.
The third cop on the rightmost side of the other 2 doesn't fire at all.

Whether it's real or fake, I couldn't imagine being the hostage in that situation. Not only are you being held at gunpoint by some crazy guy, but then the door suddenly flies open and cops open fire into the room.
