Some alternative scenarios
well this was extremely boring

What did you expect, some footage from Children of Men?
I love shit like this. I wonder how well could direct democracy work given that technology is in place.
they're just straight up guessing with no facts or data, what is even the point
Interesting watch but I'd felt more meaningful if they had cited specific events or other observations that led to these predictions.
Why is Turkey part of it. They're still occupying an EU member state.
they're just straight up guessing with no facts or data, what is even the point
There's no facts or data that can predict how the population of the member countries will react, will they vote separatist parties, or will they be more and more pro-EU. They said at the start of the video, they can't predict the future.
The video is still interesting, and the scenarios are realistic enough.
since when Belarus and Kaliningrad belongs to europe?
since when Belarus and Kaliningrad belongs to europe?
Well obviously this is after the war of 2020 against Russia where NATO won :v:
will there be jetpacks?
This is really stupid.
Belarus is in EU while Ukraine isn't. Wot

belarus is a dictatorship, ukraine a democracy
So direct democracy and diversity? What happend again when switzerland was voting on regulating immigration?
What the hell. The UK is leaving the EU?
Down with the EU
allow southern europe their own currency
Nordic Union with Scandinavia + UK and Germany please
profit

Well, they are making the referendum.
I prefer the Network of Nations.
Network of Nations seems like the most likely thing to happen out of these silly choices.
Great Europe is basically brussels' unrealistic wet dream.

Great Europe would be an outstanding outcome as a whole, however yeah it'll never happen because each country has their own individual ideals.
I'd really not like Social Media to have any sway in government or politics, especially because people put all their personal information on them now. I'm never going to like a politician on Facebook or re-tweet him in order to get them elected. Would the use of social media not deter older generations?
I am not well versed in EU politics but Great Europe sounds like the best outcome.
European spring sounds fucking atrocious and I can only imagine would destabilize the region.
I look forward to watch this in 2030 and laugh at how incorrect people in the past were about the future.
I thought this was really cool. Stupid, but cool.

Honestly,a combination between Network of Nations and Great Europe doesn't sound too unrealistic.
Countries keep their sovereignty and all that, but when it comes to external factors where the EU needs to represented by a single voice the EU will take a single decision about sanctions that all members must follow, and will be represented by EU ambassadors, you get the idea.
Unless each nation state speaks English like Northern Europe; there won't be a really stable united europe without a common language.
The difference between EU and the USA is the fact that the USA was territories organized into a government, rather than governments organized into the same boundaries with less determination.
